3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasting Session of Mikkeller Hop Series: Tasting nr 19 and final one. Darker amber coloured beer with some lighter carbonation and a medium slightly off white head. Fruity hoppy bitter hinted aroma. Full palate. Finish is still pretty balanced, sweet fruity and sharper hop bitter. Very nice.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Location: 11.2 oz bottle from Central Market, 11/6/13
Aroma: The nose is overripe fruit, some light grass, and a fairly large malt caramel malt backbone
Appearance: A cloudy reddish-orange color with a sheety foam of beige head and mid-heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor is a sweet/over ripened fruit, with a caramel malt, and a late bitterness
Palate: The body is medium-plus, it is creamy on the mouth, and has a long, dry finish
It feels as though this one may be a bit past itís prime (no date, but it was purchased this week). I didnít love this one, but it is okay. Iíd be curious to see if it would be significantly different weíre it fresher.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Hazy orange, unfiltered body. Big frothy head. Past its prime. A premium international price is unacceptable if your beer quickly deteriorates and smells like buttery malt trash. Great appearance..thatís about it.

Bottle 6.8% abv. Pour darks orange brown with thin creamy head. Aroma a bit pissy and sour. Taste is bitter (115 ibu) with noticeable alcohol and fruits. Not bad but not the best in this series.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Keg, BrewDog Brum, 21/08/13. Ominous, almost ruby looks thinly collared with vanilla. Buttered peach aroma with a stroke of labrador. No, no, no, no...another sickly, boozy, peachy, throat sweet-flavoured IPA in the US style. Tastes exactly like Lipton peach iced tea. Alcohol strongly apparent, hops smothered by honey and malt. Poor by Mikkellerís standards.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 9/20
Dominate floral aroma with a suggestions of dark fruit and citrus. Pours a cloudy copper with a medium, none lasting, tan head and minimal lacing. The taste follows the nose. Floral, bread, grain, dark fruit, citrus, and a hop bitterness in the finish that sort of creeps up on you. Not overpowering. Medium body with medium carbonation. Mouthfeel is smooth with just tiniest bit of crispness/bitterness thrown in. Overall, quit enjoyable. Would drink again.

Keg at Brewdog Brum. Wow! Expected not too much. Was feeling a bit wary of single hop IPAs. Shouldnít have worried: this is tart, bitter and packed with taste. Not sure Iíve encountered this hop very much, but on this evidence itís great.

330ml bottle as part of a 5 bottle tasting. Another citrussy hop with pineapple and a hint of caramel, allowing a dry and sharp bitterness to come in on the finish.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Burnt orange pour. White head. Aroma is hoppy, light caramel, dank wood aromas. Quite bitter on the tongue. Citrus hops. Strong aroma of citrus and yeast. The flavor has a strong citrus hop bite to it along with a decent underlying maltiness and a dry, bitter edge in the finish. Pretty good overall.
