Bottle at home. Pours mostly clear deep golden with a creamy off white head. The aroma is hoppy, spicy, sweet malty and vinous. The flavor is ginger, spice, hops and crackers. Only light acid from the barrel but lots of the sweet fruit. Works great for me.

Teku glass. Bottle. From the orginal verison in this BA you can feel in the aroma the hints of dry wood, which becomes quite intense. The taste is more vinous, I’ve never tried sauternes, but many times sweet Tokaj wines and you can really experience this heavy taste and aroma. Comparing to non-BA verision, this one is more complex (better) in aroma, and it calms down the hoppy bitterness.

Aroma: Smelling of bread, orange, dill and oak.
Appearance: A foggy amber colored beer. A off-white head with good lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting bread, lemon, pine, dill, oak and peel.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a coarse texture. A medium body with a dry finish.
Overall: Intriguing, complex, too complex? Very barrel infused.
Note: Bottle 375 ml at home. Reviewed 2014-12-25.
