Some aroma of pine within fruity hops. Ginger has a hot ending in the beer. Body is not quite up to the heat. Interesting but not very great. Good experiment. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Yamaichi. Nice hoppy nose, citrus, grass, pine, some ginger, biscuit and light caramel malts. Deep gold with a tall, fine head. Piney, resiny flavor, lots of hops, grass, spice, (light ginger, though I don’t know if I would have guessed). Very hoppy, bitter finish with some alcohol. A bit of honey, biscuit, sweet orange. Unbalanced and bitter but flavorful and fun.

330mL bottle to pint glass Aroma of hops, ginger, grapefruit, and pine. Slightly cloudy pale yellowish amber with a thick bubbly off white head. Taste is bitter and lightly acidic. Light body and a bit thin and slick. A nice festive hoppy ale.

Hazed orange pour with a white head. Sweet citrus, orange, and caramel malts. A lot of pine, plenty of ginger, and a hint of grapefruit. A bit of bread, spice, and toast, too. Tastes pretty sweet and malty. A lot of bread, toast, and caramel. Candied orange peel, citrus, and pine notes. Some nice ginger qualities, spice, and floral hops.

Lightish gold pour, alot of head. Clear, lacing. Aroma is a fruit/floral soapy aroma, maybe oxidized some from strong carb.Guess there is a litle ginger and pine-it just accentuates the hop aroma more it seems.Pronounced aroma but dont know if I really care for the overall aroma character that much. It honestly smells like some kind of perfume.I love hop aroma but I dont know about this as much. Taste is caramel smooth, mildly sweet, stronger pine in flavor with ginger I guess. Its kinda good. Not one of my mikkeller favorate ipa’s

Pours hazy, golden colour. Thick mediumsized head. Citrusy, spicy smell. Hoppy aromas with good handful of ginger, pine and spices. A hint of butter and grass too. Bitterish long-lasting aftertaste. Very nice combination, a really tasteful experience.
