Pours hazy, golden colour. Thick mediumsized head. Citrusy, spicy smell. Hoppy aromas with good handful of ginger, pine and spices. A hint of butter and grass too. Bitterish long-lasting aftertaste. Very nice combination, a really tasteful experience.

Draft. Hazy golden color, white edge head. Aroma of grass and light spice. A bit more ginger in the taste, but not overwhelming. Nice to see an IPA this time of year.

0,33 l bottle from Alko. Pours cloudy amber with a medium head. Aroma is malts, grapefruit and hops. Flavor is malts, grapefruit, ginger, spices and hops. The lightness from ginger is an awesome mix with the bitter hops. Splendid beer.

On tap. Bubbly white cap atop a slightly hazy gold base. Very nice drink with a super subtle ginger that adds to a good dry finish. And a LONG finish. Piney bitters coat the mouth and linger for an eternity. Aroma is mainly toffee. And juice. I dig it.

Really nice ipa that is extremely drinkable, going down just a little to easy on a warm summers day. Nice pleasant hop aroma and flavour. The ginger while not a dominant flavour is there hiding in the background enhancing the beer. Tasty, tidy and one I would have again.

Pours gold into a snifter. White head with medium retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Pine resin and grapefruit aromas. Sweet with bready caramel upfront turning to resin before the lasting grapefruit finish. Not picking up any ginger.

Location: 750 ml bottle from Sparrow-Downtown, 12/6/12, Rater #200, thatís an interesting coincidence

Aroma: The nose is fairly heavy on citrus hops, with a pine tree presence, and a hint of spice
Appearance: Pours a clear bright orange color with a thick, foamy off-white head and fairly heavy lace
Flavor: It tastes fairly sweet up-front, with a medium-plus hop bitterness, and a mild spice component
Palate: This one has a fairly creamy feel, a really nice drinkability, soft carbonation, and a dryish finish
Overall Impression: I found this to be another really impressive IPA from Mikkeller. I didnít really get any of that ginger in this one, I expected more of an IPA combined with a winter spice beer, but this is really just a straight-up IPA, and it is a straight-up IPA done right. Nice job here!

Bottled. Amber colour, rather hazy, lacy head. Aroma has piney and herbal hops, sweet berry notes and some caramelized ginger. Sweet, berryish and bitter taste, resiny bitter finish. Fresh and frothy texture, medium body. Nothing special but pretty drinkable. A bit too sweet.

Pale deep golden pour, foamy/frothy off white head and light sticky lacing ... aroma of citrusy and piney hops with a nice rindy grapefruity hop to it .... taste of piney and citrusy hops with a nice bitter rindy bite, grapefruity, little earthy and light caramel malts .... Ginger isnít really present at all ... Finishes with a lingering bitter hop bite ... Abv hidden well.

Bottle. Inviting fruit, zesty hop aroma. Flavour is more of the same with a strong but not overpowering bitterness. Couldnít taste the pine or ginger but a very good ipa nonetheless.
