Pours a cloudy golden colour with big white head nicely lacing the glass. Aromas of fresh pine, citrus, kinda perfumy and malty sweetness. Flavours are citrus, fruity, I think Iím getting some light ginger, lighter bitterness and a nice malty sweetness.

Pours a cloudy orangish copper with a nice white hat that leaves some lacing. Aroma is big on pine and citrus notes like oranges. Taste is of orange and pine with some floral hop bitterness throughout. Pretty good balances of hops to malts that masks the high abv. Great ipa.

Micky. Thatís a good name. Mickey not so good. Micky Davis. Good name that. Classic Mikkeller IPA, didnít notice the Ginger or pine, but I was a bit sloshed and a bit tired.

Copper coloured, long lasting slightly off-white head. Lovely ripe citrus hop aroma, with touches of pine needles, gummy-bears, caramel. Taste is similar: floral hops, pine resin, marmalade. A hint of spice from the ginger in the dry, lingering finish. Medium-bodied, sticky mouthfeel. Enjoyed this!

Bottle shared at JFís (from BOE) 23/12/12. Lightly hazed golden with a thin off white head that retains as a film and to the edge. Nose is hops, apricot, bitter orange, candied sugars, touch of spice. Taste comprises hops, pine, tarte ripe mango, bitter grapefruit, orange, light spices. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a little booze and bitterness in the finish. Decent.

Very nice crisp copper glow with a dense, thick tan head - very nice looking indeed. Aroma of pungent hops, a nice yeast strain, a faint hint of grapefruit and pine and a hint of some spices, but not really. Medium-bodied; Nice piney and floral hop flavours dominate at first with a good malt backbone, some light sweetness near the end and a good pine and spruce flavour to finish off the flavour. Aftertaste is relatively simple - hops, yeast, malt and a hint of the pine flavours - not much else going on here. Overall, a well made IPA with a hint of piney and spruce notes, but all with a good malt backbone and a nice sweetness. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 12-December-2012 for US$12.59 sampled at home in Upstate New York on 25-December-2012 for my nice Christmas celebratory beer!

Countbeer (5587) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 25, 2012
Bottle: Medium sized white head which changes into a closed medium sized lacing on top of a hazy yellow orange colored beer. Smell malts, cream, herbs, citrus, apricot, some sharp notes like citrus and grapefruit. Taste is a thick and creamy mix of apricot, bitters, malts, some peach, hoppy herbs, something light porridge alike, some yeast. Aftertaste is malty fruits with bitters, peach and herbs. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium to lightly fuller body and a creamy texture. Nothing special, but itís well balanced with some good creamy, bitter and malted fruit notes.

Bottle. Burnished orange gold with a creamy white collar. Beautiful fresh hop aroma; lemon and lime zest, resinous fresh spruce, mandarin jelly, honey. Dry, floral, piney and botanical with tropical and orange/kumquat liqueur hints. Merest hint of pale nutty malt. Rather lovely.
