Bottle… Hazy yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The nose furnishes fruity apricot and grapefruit flanked by pine and whispers of ginger and leather. Medium-bodied with zippy carbonation. The flavor is fruity and moderately bitter – pine and grapefruit. Lengthy, apricoty, earthy finish.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Capped 750 from The Davis Beer Shoppe in Davis, CA. Pours hazy golden amber with a 4 finger foamy/creamy white head that has staying power. The aroma is nostril clearing - resin and spice (might be ginger). Full bodied. Very. Flavor is caramel with resin and I think ginger. It’s got hot spice anyway. This is a massive brew flavorwise. My mouth probably no longer has anything left to oxidize. Frickin brilliant ale. BRILLIANT!!!!!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Massive Mikkeller Pt.2. Excited to see how the pine/ginger would come out in this one. It kinnda fell short of my expectations though. Not a ton of pine or ginger really. This style is already pretty earthy so the pines did shine a little more then the ginger. Not that bad though.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Hazy amber pour with a generous dissipating white head. Nose showed some juicy citrus and fragrant hop in tandem with yeast and vague spice notes. Flavour wise, there was again some good hop presence, alongside some caramel malts, with notes of orange, pine and slight spice
