Sample @ Drink Shop Beer Tasting Session nov.2012. Bit hazy deep golden color. Nice head, stays. Hops, sweet, spices, fruity notes in aroma. Malty, sweetish, spices, clover in flavor. Hints of ginger in aftertaste. Very messy and unbalanced.

330ml bottle. Clear dark golden colour with huge, frothy, lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Hoppy, piney, resinous aroma with a touch of honey, herbs, coniferes, hints of soapy ginger. Taste is dry, soapy, grassy hoppy, cautious piney undertones; minimally biting in between, dry hoppy in the finish.

Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen
Hazy golden color, small creamy head. Aroma of fruity hops, creamy, light tomato too; some oranges and cheese. Good body strength; the mouthfeel is smooth; toffee flavor, a bit buttery and fruity, with a creamy impression; strong hopping, with plenty of hop oils and fruits.
Too candyish, but good overall.

Pours a clear with nice carbonation. Abdomen grapefruit and one, taste is same, I prefer not so piney but a good beer.

rarbring (1531) - Linköping, SWEDEN - NOV 25, 2012
Aroma: Smelling of pine-apple, almost overpowering grape-fruit, pine and soap.
Appearance: A foggy amber colored beer. A warm off-white head with good lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet toffee and bread, grape-fruit marmalade and grape-fruit peel.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a coarse texture. A big body with a not dry finish.
Overall: Powerful, somewhat overly spicy, a citric bomb.
Note: On-tap at a De Klomp tasting. Reviewed 2012-11-24.

On the road to 2000 - will end it there me thinks. Good citrusy tropical scents, lemon and powder, ginger and pine, very nice. A bit over carbonated at times, pine taste is muted at first, bitterness is not all that pleasant, lemon, ginger, grainy a bit, tropical, not all that excited about this. Too much carbonation and the aftertaste is less than stellar. Gonna agree with presario on the value of many Mikkeller beers even tho I love them overall.
