4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a slightly hazy darker yellow with lots of head that dissipates after a while. Aroma is fruity, sweet, pineapple, and very fresh. Taste is quite hoppy but not bitter, some citrus notes, with more fresh exotic fruity flavours. Aftertaste is quite dry but not hoppy, just slightly bitter with hints of pine. This is a very balanced, unique and extremely drinkable beer. For fans of hoppy christmas ales!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from BeerRitz in Leeds. A beer flavoured with ginger and pine needles didnít sound very appetising, but this was really good. Poured golden amber with a frothy white head. V ery citrtus hop aroma. Interesting strong flavours with a pineapple finish the most prevelant. Thereís caramel and spices in there too. Ginger too, but nicely hidden in the background rather than dominating. The pine notes are in the finish. Good.

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly cloudy orange colour with a big, light beige and creamy head. Has a fruity aroma with mango, pine, some caramel, citrus and fruity hops. The flavour follows up and has a rich and slick mouthfeel. The bitterness is balanced and at a medium level. A nice, tasteful and well-balanced IPA.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear golden under a medium foamy white head. Nose is strongly hoppy, with earthy dank hops bringing a piney, floral, and orange zest note on the aroma, with a melon-like sweetness underneath. Flavor is balanced and complex, with lots of notes of fresh floral hops, grapefruit, pine resin, caramel, and leafy fresh hops. Wonderful ipa, seasonal or not.

Bottle. Bready malt, mild grapefruity hops, and some alc. in nose. Clear bright amber, with a thick two-finger fluffy white head and good lace. Sharp caramel initial / hops blend in nicely with citrus and herbs / smooth finish and light bitter tracks linger. Medium-heavy body. Only a hint of the ginger in mid and finish. Very tasty stuff!
