Hazy orange/golden with medium creamy head. Aroma is citric and grassy. Taste is very delicate: pine, ginger, a perfect blend of sweet, tart and bitter flavour. Pleasantly smooth and slightly fizzy that enhance the flavours in the end. Enjoyable.

33cl bottle served in a teku. Pours a hazy orange with a massive fluffy white head which lasts well giving good lacing. Aroma is piney hops and little malt or sweetness. Taste however, is quite sweet for the style with little hop bitterness but plenty of flavour. Hard to decide whether the piney notes are coming from the hops of the spruce needles however they are nicely balanced with the sweetness showing no signs of excessive malt notes. Overall a good solid IPA for the festive season with a slightly thicker mouthfeel than other IPAs of this straight which makes it feel a bit more special. If I said I could detect the ginger I would be lying but there was certainly an extra element that made it taste more festive which may or may not be down to the spicy addition.

Bottle poured to cup. Strong sappy Christmas pine notes. Golden slightly hazy, light but large and fluffy head. Citrus hops, cinnamon, pine needles, sap, nutmeg. Great body, medium, substantial enough, smooth finish.

Bottle. Cloudy orange body with nice large lasting white head. Aroma is fruity with pines and some herbs. Taste is also very fruity with pines and malts and ginger with some herbs in the background. Aftertaste is sweet with nice bitterness and fruitness. Nice one.

Clear amber orange with huge head. Smells fruity and sweet and a tad alcoholic. Not too strong aroma anyway. Grapes, melon and resin, some citrus as well. The taste is sublime, mostly bitter but with a considerable sweetness, both merged perfectly. The palate is quite nice too, being neither too dense nor too thin. Maybe a tiny bit more fizzy would have been awesome, but it works pretty well for me anyway. Really enjoyable beer.

Tap at Fairbar. Hazy amber body with an off-white head. Sweet, fruity and hoppy aroma. Likewise taste, with heavy bitterness and spicy flavours. I could not taste the ginger, but there was a slight burn from it. Medium body with average carbonation. Bitter and hoppy finish. Very tasty, and more of a christmas IPA than others I have tried.
