Változatos, szinte megfoghatatlanul sokszínű, izgalmas karakterű ital, mely szintén jól sikerült példával szolgál a karácsonyi sörök újabb felfogás alapján kivitelezett darabjainak területén.

Keg @ Brewdog Sheffield. Pours hazy gold with off-white head and a hoppy orange and caramel aroma. Taste is fruity tropical orange punch with a pine bitterness and slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Decent.

330 ml bottle. Aroma is much on the green & pine characteristics of the hops. Sweet bitter aroma, increasingly bitter towards the end. Medium dry finish. A tad too hoppy for my liking, and the taste is somewhat bland...

HKdIPA (226) - HONG KONG - APR 21, 2014
Bottle from Kaohsiung HSR station. Aroma is grassy hops. Taste is bitter at first, bit of orange and then only slightly detectable ginger bite (may not know it if it didn't say on the bottle). Has that hops - is it chinook? - that I don't like, tastes a bit plasticky and empty. Mostly just bitter. With a dry and slightly boozy finish. Not bad but wouldn't get again.

Pour’s all foam and frustration. Two thirds of head with a little beer underneath. Hazy, dull amber with a bad case of the floaties. Head does eventually subside. after mucking up the glass well. Resinous, sweet, citrus dowsed nose. Doughy and thick like caramelised orange, banoffee pie, and toffee’d apple. Straightforward, citrus and tropical fruit dominated palate. Light burn on the finish. Hops are flooded by the esters. Ginger has a sideline role. Yeasty, muddled malt mid-palate. Quite lean in body, almost watery in approach. Carbonation is soft given the heady explosion on the pour. Vinous more than beer like. Refreshing but forgettable to be blatantly honest. Nothing strikingly unique here. Cool label!! (33cL, BB 06/03/14, The Liquor Barn, Jandakot)
