COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This spontaneous fermented beer has been aged in Hungarian oak barrels and appears with a light amber color with almost no head.

The aroma is huge and very vinous. A clear impression of oxidized apples is the first thing that hits you, which made us think of heavy old fashioned British apple ciders. The aroma also reveals the wooden notes from the barrels along with some burned toffee and spices like Star anise.

It has a very heavy acidic profile at first, one that quickly slides into a smooth kind of sweetness. We taste green apples, carambola and very young green grapes. It has a certain lactic acidic touch and a creamy dry finish that lasts forever and bares the green impressions through.

Some mild creamy blue cheese on roasted rye bread would work great due to both the lactic and acidity impressions in this beer.

Bottle @ Ølbutiken copenhagen. Light copper coloured. High carbonation. Very citrus with a bit of old leaves. Sourness is quite overwhelming, but shows potential. With some aging it might become more balanced.

2016/06/04 - Pours a clear medium amber colour with a thin head that immediately vanishes. Aroma is green apple, woody notes, barnyard, toffee and light burnt rubber. Taste is tart apple, wood, toffee, barnyard and hay. Mouthfeel is medium with effervescent carbonation and a crisp, drying, tart finish. Sharp, simple and delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a golden orange with an off white head and tart, fruity aroma. Taste is tart and sour up front, with fruit and woody oak notes coming through into the tart, cider like finish

With Z, pours a pink hue with a ephemeral head. Nose is sour and tart with a nice pungency ! Taste is oaky , with woody calvados and a very even pleasant tartness and sourness. Finishes on the same tasting notes with a very pleasant sour tart biting ending . Nice, very nice ! Quaff Score 8 / 10

375 ml flaske fra 2014. Klar oransje-gyllen kropp uten skum. Vinøs og bærpreget aroma med innslag av appelsinmarmelade. Frisk syrlighet med fin smak av grapefrukt. God overgang til corn flakes. God fylde og passende snerpete munnfølelse. Snadder på brygga i sola.

sample from bottle. Champagne like spritz and feel. Aroma is hay, green apple, light lemon and olive. Pretty nice example of the style. Acidic and tart on the finish.

Bottle courtesy of Maakun shared at Maakun’s. Dark golden with little ring of greyish bubbles. Grapes, white wine, horse barn hay, a sporadic (over)ripe strawberry, dried apricots, subtle wood tones, subtle cobwebs, wild yeast, herbal notes such as cardemom, cinnamon, vanilla. Medium sour, mild spices, subtle complex long bitter finish, minerallike saltiness. Medium body, smoothened almost oily minerallike texture. Faint carbo fizziness. Pretty nice!

Bottle shared at home. Clear dark golden with short lasting white head that leaves a small ring. Quite fruity with white grapes and apple, some malts, soft lactic notes, light funk and hay with a bit of dry cellar too but in a soft way not the massive dry cobwebs some gueuzes have. Vanilla and some berry pits, hint of cinnamon. Light sweet and under medium sour. Medium bodied with soft fine carbonation. Surprisingly good.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2016 pours unclear light gold with a small white cap offering some retention and lacing. golden delicious apples, meaty orcharness - tasty granny smiths as well, toasted woodsiness, old rag, spent grassy hops, medium toasted wheat, lemon and lime-driven acidity, pepper. moderate carbonation, light body - oily; dry and tart herbal-grassy finish. more than decent gueuze, slightly lacking in complexity tho.

clear yellow, small white to offwhite head. Nice leathery sourish aroma, mostly reminds me of belgian lambic but i also get some crazier stuff in there. notes resembling tart spanish apple cider, woody notes hide in the leather. flavor is extremely sour and dry and tart. loads of wood, quite acidic, very close to the border where things get overly phenolic. I have this feeling that this beer is somewhat off what they were aiming for, that it just went crazy, but it is interesting and a treat nevertheless.
