Wow - piney piney piney - deeply flavoured - perfectly balanced - totally harmonious - couldn’t drink a lot of this because it’s so rich but as a final drink or if only one beer is planned, it’s outstanding.

Bottle from erzbierschof. Pours a hazy orange. Aroma gives hint of caramel and chocolate from malt with some earthy hops. Am excellent balance between caramel malt and fruity citrusy hops. Very enjoyable brew from two great breweries!

$7, 330 ml bottle I wish I knew when this was born on. Pours a murky, dark brownish red with a yellowish lacing for a head that stays around. Sounded like a soda when opened and poured as such, plenty fizzy as well. Smells like a dark resinous dipa, dark fruits and alcohol are prominent. Light on the tongue, certainly well carbonated but not in any bad way, Resin is the prominent flavor, bitter, with the alcohol not being over the top but its still there. Leaves a weird dark fruit taste on the palate that is somewhat bitter and has me screwing my face. Not a fan of this style of dipa but better than the sixpoint resin.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium amber, with a moderate off-white head, which lasts well and leaves good lacing. Floral, tropical fruit and peach hops aromas are backed by sweet caramel malt. Strong pineapple, melon and white peach hops up front give way to a quite sweet caramel malt mid-palate. Assertive grapefruit and tropical hops finish it off. A very nice IIPA, sweeter than most in the style, but with plenty of hops kick too.

Nice copper body and sandy head. The malt is complimented by crisp hops that balance the date and stonefruit flavours. Very smooth for a big alcohol beer.

Bottle at home from Brewdog online. Rich Bright crimson red / orange colour with a lasting losse off white head. Aroma is nice spicy / sticky resinous pine with some orange jammy fruits. Flavour is big bold resinous hops, orange, pince, toast. Malts and caramel and biscuit and successfully balance out the massive hops. Warming alchol in the finish along with some spicy hop. Palate is full and sticky, semi sweet and moderately high tingling carbonation. Big bold double IPA. Good stuff.
