Had in 5 oz taster. Pours amber with white head. Very sweet nose, with hops and a ton of malt. Get toffee with a mesh of pine hops. A little too malty for the "IBU" refernce, could use some bite as it drinks simlar to a barley wine.

Slight bitter, sweet malt. More malt than hop. Strong stuff, almost like a barleywine. Got stale hops from it. Not really going to slight it becase of it, there was no bottle date. Thicker than average. I like my IPAs fresh and this wasnt. Still enjoyable, just not what I was expecting.

Pours a hazy amber with small white head. Malty and a bit musty aroma. Has the hop with Carmel flavor.

IIPA. .Nice color, I want U. Not much aroma, disappointing. Taste of herbs, grass, petrol, there is no citrus or exotic fruits.Really different from other IIPAs. There is something powerful about this beer. Not my favorite beer but really worth it

12 oz bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a very hazy deep amber. Nose is citrusy and piney as you'd expect, but there's also a lot of sweetness and some funkiness. When drinking this sweetness is very present... reminds me most of raw honey. All in all, it's a very interesting take on an IIPA.

The copper-amber color, cloudy body. and two finger thick head made of large bubbles made this beer look good to me. The smell was very aggressive at an arms length, as the hops gave out a grassy, spicy aroma. Right under the nose, the aromas mellowed a little, as the honey like malt started to come through. The was not as bitter as the American IPAs originating on the US West Coast. There was a honeydew melon and papaya like sweetness up front, with notes of pear as well. The hops were clearly there mid palette, and in the finish, but they were not the typical citric types, and were instead more herbal, earthy, and spicy. This beer was quite hefty in body and stuck to the corners of the mouth, giving the beer a drawn out aftertaste. Hid the alcohol well, and went down quite easily.

A - Dark copper-orange with a finger of frothy off-white head. Fades medium. S - Grapefruit, citrus, and pine hops, sweet caramel and biscuit malts, some light booze. T - Grapefruit, orange, citrus, pine hops, some lightly resiny bitterness, sweet caramel and bready malts, a bit of booze. M - Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a dry, bitter, and lightly sweet and warming finish. D - Nice DIPA. Good malt and hop balance.

Pours a hazy orange, white head that slowly dissipates. Sour malt aroma with mild hops notes. Huge hops and malt flavors, some of the alcohol comes through. Finishes long and strong of bitter hops and lemon. I liked 10 better, expected more from this one.y

Tasted at Mikkeller bar. The bartender recommended this beer and what a treat. Loads of hops and sweet malt backbone to back it up. Very balanced to be a beer this big. A nice hoppy finish. Left me wanting more.
