Imperial ipa con una stupenda luppolatura americana che va dalle tinte di frutta tropicale a quelle agrumate e che riempie la bocca, ammorbidendosi in una maltosità pastosa e caramellata molto ben bilanciata. Buon amaro che avvolge la bocca.

I’d guess this was a barley wine blind..
The bitterness is straight out bitter, the mouthfeel is way too full, but quite creamy. Not a lot of fruitiness, malt dominant, the malt reminds me of 1000 IBU’s malt profile, but with 100 IBU instead, alcohol actually comes forward, and as noted, the bitterness is just sharp. Decent Barley wine.

Pours a clear amber with a low white head. Aromas of grapefruit, peach, resin, hay. Taste is very bitter with grapefruit, peach, resin. Mouthfeel is quite dry qnd astringent with fairly low carbonation. Aftertaste is bitter grapefruit, resin, hay.

Clean amber color, small white head. Sweet aroma of tropical fruits, caramel, malt, hops, pine, herbs and honey. Taste is sweet too, has similar notes, with heavy bitter finish and hoppy aftertaste. Full body and average carbonation. Nice double IPA, quite enjoyable.

330ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Pours a deep orange-brown amber colour, foamy off-white head and aroma of caramel, fruity mango, orange citrus, pine, grassy. Taste is sweetish biscuity malt caramel nicely balanced with honey, orange, pine notes and grassy bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter warming boozy finish. Very drinkable DIPA.

330 ml bottle from Premier Gourmet. Pours a murky orangey brown with thin off-white head. Aroma is tree fruit and pine with some sweet alcohol notes. Flavour is sweet and fruity with lots of pine resin, doughy biscuit and some alcohol. Mellow carbonation. Medium-full body. Nice.

Tap at beertemple, amsterdam. Hazy reddish bronze color, small white head. Light aroma is sweet malty, some hops. Strong malty body, hops, fruits, some alcohol, dry hoppy finish. Strong iipa.

Aroma of fruity hops, almost sweet. Amber with off-white head. A tiny lasting head.
Hoppy alcohol sweetness, heavy bitterness. Soapy texture. Average carbonation. Rich body. Finish is alcohol sweet and hoppy.

On tap at the BeerTemple. Light hazy amber pour with lacy white head. Aroma is hoppy, quite piney, nice citrus notes, orange and grapefruit. Taste is bitter, malty, lots of caramel, resinous bitterness, light citrusy flavors - pretty old school IPA.
