Bottle. Cloudy, raw-honey color, offwhite head, moderate size and fluffy, totally lasting, sticky, thick lace blobs. Aroma of hops with tropical fruit, very floral, citrus notes, big malts, baked wheat cookies. Smells delicious. Mouth is fullish, light carbonation, balanced to dry finish, a bit sticky on the lips. Flavor is malty-sweet with brown sugar, light caramel malt, hints of roast malt, and a bunch of hops with lots of flavors--floral, peach, pineapple, orange, pine. Lots of hops. Long, hodge-podge finish laden with hops over an underlying maltiness that hints of bread. Complex. Almost harsh, but still a little easy to drink because of the tremendous malts...a big beer, and yummy! Might be amazing fresh...

Draught @ Flying Saucer, Addison. Clear dark amber, lil’ head. Slight peppery nose, red fruit. Sweet start, rosebud. Boozy, herby and hoppy full-bodied beer. Well balanced, as Mikkel makes them...

On tap @ Mikkeller in Copenhagen. Hazy dark brown appearance with ample off-white head. Nose and flavour is basement sweet caramel malts balanced by a substantial resinous dry hop bitterness that lingers but does not overpower. Medium bodied with a slick texture and average carbonation. A very fine DIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at beer mongers . Very dank hoppy beer. Good malty backbone. Will have this beer again.

Poured from bottle into a snifter. Aroma was not very strong and kind of disappointed me. Appearance was very nice with a semi cloudy golden orange color and a one finger off white head that disappeared quickly. Taste made up for what it lacked in aroma. it was great. Just the right amount of sweetness with the caramel straw citrus and grass. The palate I think was right on. Perfect mouth feel, smooth and creamy. Excellent beer and in my top 5 of this style. Try it I doubt you will be disappointed. Cheers!

Poured from a bottle into a snifter a cloudy orangish gold with a white head. Aroma is non descript (only true flaw of this brew) didn’t catch much here instead kept thinking it smelled like a cleaned bathroom-may be the glass I chose to drink it from. Flavor floored me. Truly a lover of imperial IPAs and this one is the TITS!. Caramel pine trees smooth sweet. Balanced like so few Imperial IPAs can do. This one is incredible in every sip. Sad I had to share the bottle but my husband is worth it... As impressive as Pliny, Hopslam, Creeper, Dreadnaught- My top faves as a DIPA fan.

Bottle. Lactic caramel and strong vegetal and pine aroma. Hazy amber with small head. Sweet caramel malt, sour milk, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Okay - probably the bottle I got wasn’t too fresh.

330 ml bottle from the Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York. Hazy orange in colour with a long lasting off white head. The aroma is very hoppy, lots of grapefruit, oranges, some caramel, tropical fruits. The flavour is quite hoppy upfront, moderate bitterness, tropical fruit sweetness, soapy and chewy. Hoppy and bitter mouthfeel, medium body, high carbonation. Finishes long, hoppy and bitter. Lots of fruit in this one, very tropical. I like this one lots.
