UPDATED: JUN 18, 2010 Tab @ Mikkeller Bar. Clear amber pour with large frothy tanned hed. Aroma is very hoppy with citrus, lime pineapple - fruity hoppiness. A nice base of caramel malts and berries to keep it chained. The taste is a fine balance between malts and agressive hops. The hops bite your tongue with lime, grape fruit, apples and a great deal of bitterness, and the malts keep up with some caramel. Medium to large body, medium carbonation, long duration. Not a world-class IIPA, but a fine beer.

Nice copper body and sandy head. The malt is complimented by crisp hops that balance the date and stonefruit flavours. Very smooth for a big alcohol beer.

Bottle at home from Brewdog online. Rich Bright crimson red / orange colour with a lasting losse off white head. Aroma is nice spicy / sticky resinous pine with some orange jammy fruits. Flavour is big bold resinous hops, orange, pince, toast. Malts and caramel and biscuit and successfully balance out the massive hops. Warming alchol in the finish along with some spicy hop. Palate is full and sticky, semi sweet and moderately high tingling carbonation. Big bold double IPA. Good stuff.

Bottle shared by a friend. Aroma is citrusy, resiny, overall hopforward. Clear golden to amber colour. Rather stable head. A lot of caramel in taste, even light light chocolate. Lacking in hops flavour, but overall enjoyable, nice.

Ruddy brown pour. Sharp aroma of grass, pines, fruit (mango). Flavor is resin, toffee, grass, flowers and fruits. Great tasting, intense but not what I’d usually think of when I think DIPA!

330ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique 200614. Everything about this beer is good, from the hazy orange colour to the hop wallop in the nose and mouth.
