UPDATED: JUN 18, 2010 Tab @ Mikkeller Bar. Clear amber pour with large frothy tanned hed. Aroma is very hoppy with citrus, lime pineapple - fruity hoppiness. A nice base of caramel malts and berries to keep it chained. The taste is a fine balance between malts and agressive hops. The hops bite your tongue with lime, grape fruit, apples and a great deal of bitterness, and the malts keep up with some caramel. Medium to large body, medium carbonation, long duration. Not a world-class IIPA, but a fine beer.

33cl bottle @La Bona Pinta in Barcelona. Pours deep clear golden with one finger of creamy white head. Aroma is a lot of resinous hops with light caramel/sweet malts. Taste starts super sweet with tropical fruits and caramel fading into a ton of hops. Very good mixed aftertaste of sweet and bitter flavors. Excellent.

Pours cloudish amber with minimal white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, a bit grassy, malty. Nice sweet taste followed by pleasant bitterness. All in all, great one.

Wow - piney piney piney - deeply flavoured - perfectly balanced - totally harmonious - couldn’t drink a lot of this because it’s so rich but as a final drink or if only one beer is planned, it’s outstanding.

Bottle from erzbierschof. Pours a hazy orange. Aroma gives hint of caramel and chocolate from malt with some earthy hops. Am excellent balance between caramel malt and fruity citrusy hops. Very enjoyable brew from two great breweries!

$7, 330 ml bottle I wish I knew when this was born on. Pours a murky, dark brownish red with a yellowish lacing for a head that stays around. Sounded like a soda when opened and poured as such, plenty fizzy as well. Smells like a dark resinous dipa, dark fruits and alcohol are prominent. Light on the tongue, certainly well carbonated but not in any bad way, Resin is the prominent flavor, bitter, with the alcohol not being over the top but its still there. Leaves a weird dark fruit taste on the palate that is somewhat bitter and has me screwing my face. Not a fan of this style of dipa but better than the sixpoint resin.
