Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 14C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: complex hop aromas with notes of pine, resin and a plethora of fruity notes like pineapple and passion fruit. esters are very low to none. APPEARANCE: medium amber and almost orange. very hazy and almost opaque. average moussy ivory head with average retention. TASTE: initial sweet malty background with very nice flavours very similar to the aromas (pine, resin, pineapple-like and passion fruit). very high bitterness that lingers and lingers beyhond a medium-dry finish. PALATE: medium body without hop derived astringency. medium carbonation. OVERALL: a very intense and complex imperial IPA. although its high bitterness it has a very high rate of drinkability. recommended!

Bottle from Mikkeller Bottle Shop, CPH - fuzzy golden pour with white head. Juicy citrus and tropical fruity aroma and taste, some mandarin, lemon, grapefruit, juicy and smooth, fruit salad chewits, light caramel biscuity malt, defiantly my favourite of the 5. Gorgeous.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; cloudy golden amber pour with a frothy white head, aroma has some dank cat pissy citra action, taste has dank earthy hop along with tangerine, grapefruit, some pepper, I like.

Day 4 of Julepakkekalender from Mikkeller. Bottled.

Aroma: Big orange peel and lemon aromas. Slight hop and apple vinegar smell.
Appearance: Pours a hazy orange juice colour. Light head.
Taste: A blast of lemon upfront, followed by a bit of orange and hop flavours.
Palate: A bitterness that quickly dissipates. Medium carbonation. The mouthfeel becomes oily after several sips, but is not apparent at first. Medium body.
Overall: Another case of the ABV doesn’t match the impact of the drink. At 8.9% this feels worringly like half that. Refreshing, light, and very enjoyable!
