4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cheers!

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. I fucking did it again. Why do I waste money on these beers that have obviously been carried to the US in heated ocean freighter cars? Drink by date of 08/16, guessing that is two years from Brew date, which means this hit our shelves the ripe young age of 5 months old. Anyway. Pours milky orange, small beige head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. I actually enjoy milky opaque IPA’s, so that is a plus. Aroma is classic aged hops. Pine, caramel, spruce, some residual dankness, but thats about it. Medium sweet and medium bitter, aged. Full body, creamy mouthfeel.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle in Spiegalu ipa glass. Pours a hazy orange color similar to a hefe with a delicate white disappearing head. Starts off with prominent lemon-lead citrus aroma, pineapple, peach, and pine resin. Mouthfeel is juicy, medium hops, tart, slight dry with a semi-bitter finish. Would be slightly better with more bitter profile. Well executed, Citra hops win again.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours in hazy pale body with medium to high frosty head. Aroma is loaded with citrus, pineapple, peach with a nice honey background. Taste has high lemon bitterness with pretty high honey sweetness, amazing palate and balance. The after taste is pretty well balance between bitterness and sweetness, very nice. I just love citra hops. Body is full, light oily, medium carbonation.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, 330ml. Clear amber with a frothy, creamy offwhite head with epic lacing. Astringent aroma of caramel, citrus zest, pine resin, licorice and alcohol. Smooth and creamy, with a rich malt character and intense bitter character and finish to match.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light opaque orange, bit off-white foam head. Strong hoppy aroma, definitely citrus tones there. Good bitter taste, which is long lasting. (Arnhem 201501)

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled. Murky orange color, creamy thin head. Intense hop aroma is full of ripe peaches, pineapple, gooseberry, notes of nectary pollen and soft resins. Whiffs of caramel. Flavor has loads of sweet, exotic fruitiness at first, bold grapefruity and piney bitterness in the finish. Creamy and sweetish, soft caramel malt flavor fits well with fruitiness. Slightly too sweet, maybe. Round and soft texture, medium to full bodied, not too heavy. Very good in deed.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Blue Monk in Buffalo, NY. I usually shy away from Mikkeller IPAs because I never know how old they are, but the citra drew me in. Lovely beer. Looked super hazy like a glass of pulp-filled orange juice. Definitely the big flavorful citra in it. Smooth and heavy, kinda boozy, kinda sweet but a nice balance

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle split two ways. Murky orange pour with a generous head. Nice, crisp and juicy with loads grapefruit, peaches and light melon. Medium bitterness with some resin and pine needles. Same nice sweet malty backbone as the others. Really good stuff!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Honey-golden colour light hazy with a frothy white head and good lacings. Aromas of citrus peel, wet grass and leaves with some caramel notes develop. Lightly effervescent bit slick offering fruity swettness with pronounced citrus bitterness. Bit astringent with a medium finish and some melon flavours at the back.
