3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle on disco from Table and Vine. Murky orange caramel with head and lace. Toasted caramel spice and old citrus aroma. Taosted caramel peachy malts with some taosted nuts and very dry soft fruity spicy finish. Medium bosy and very soft carbo. Probably would have been better fresh, but still good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. BB 05.2017. Pours translucent amber with a creamy white top. Good retention and lace. The aroma is cheesecake with lemon at first, then passion, pine and resin.Tastes fruity sweet with a grapefruit seed bitter finish. Citrusy overall character. The bitterness builds up rapidly, and with the nearly 9%, there is quite a lot of warmth in the throat. The palate is soft and carbonation level low. Not too exciting, considering I’m a sucker for DIPA’s and Mosaic...

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured a cloudy light copper color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with very good lacing. Moderate to heavy citrus hop aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
A gripping hop nose, featuring grapefruit, grass and heavy dankness. The taste profile follows through on the nose, adding touches of orange, pine resin, honey, floral hops and some spice and soapiness. Lively effervescence and a rich body add to the drinking experience. A ton of sediment in the bottom of the bottle.

Rating #1337. The leet leet madness review. 1.12.2014. On tap @sugarbowlcafe. Pours a darker amber, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is citrusy, grapefruit hops predominant. Taste is boldly hopped, pastry dough malt meets the fruit bomb, lots of lemon, lime, tangerine sweetness throughout. Lovely tap.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Grapefruit, some hay, cereal, pine, resin, and a hint of honey, with ripe pineapple peeking out towards the finish. A surprising amount of booze for a DIPA. The mouthfeel is substantial, with low carbonation and a syrupy body. The taste is bitter with residual sweetness, main flavors being hayish malts and resiny hops, not terribly bright. Drinkable, but did not rattle me. Perhaps I didn’t have the best bottle? Surely this has to be a lot better when truly fresh.
