Bottle @ home. Pours hazy orange with a thick white/corn yellow head. Aroma is full of hops, mango, grapefruit and grapes. Taste is resiny, white wine, elderberries and some sweet malts. Mouthfeel is oily and foamy and there's a great lasting bitterness. - with thirst, Niklas

Eructoblaster (2956) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 19, 2014
Bottle - 330ml. Hazy amber/orange body with a good off-white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with mango, yeasty, and malty hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Its sharp hoppy taste carries citrusy, grainy, coriander, and some subtle woody notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter finish. Very well done.

Bottle. Aroma strong hoppy. Fruity, citrus, sauvin. Clear orange colour. Taste is hammering you with hops right from beginning. Resiny, citrus, orange zest. At the same time strong sweet maltiness. Very good, but for me this hops just does not strike the right notes in this intensity.

JanLaursen (3025) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2014
Flaske, 33 cl. Let uklar orangegylden, fingertykt hvidt skum. Masser af alphasyre i næsen. Græs, sved, hyldeblomst, kattetis, overmodne eksotiske frugter. Virker sødere og tungete end Citra’en i samme serie

Bottle. Golden orange body, medium head. Aroma has strange hops with dill, mango and overripe sweet fruits. Sweet syrupy taste with mango and other ripe tropical fruits. A bit cloying finish but the alcohol is well covered. It’s a strange but not a bad DIPA.

Ungstrup (29135) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 28, 2014
Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes spicy hop, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spicy hops, and straw, leading to bitter finish.

Garrold (1117) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 24, 2014
Bottle from Brewdog, Leeds. Hazy orange. Film and halo of white head. Strawberry toffee. Flora. Ripe orange fust. Hint of mango. Taste is chewy sweet. Some medicinal, lemon bitterness. Palate is smooth, but chewy. Sticky sweet lips, by way of a bonus. Finish is long bitter. For me, they’re just beginning to lose their freshness, these beers, but this is getting replaced by a sweet fustiness, that I can more than live with. Lovely stuff.

this is a great balanced IIPA... imperial yes, smooth and potent taste... I prefer this one over the I Hardcore You, what was one of my favorites 2 years ago. Now I really appreciate the more balanced and less alcohol IPA’s... fruity, citrus, plums with a perfect bitter character.
