Zitrus, Trauben, helle Früchte. Wunderbare Balance am Gaumen, schöner Malzkörper, angenehm bitter. Top.

Bottle split two ways. Hazy orange pour with a generous head. Again as juicy as the others in this series. I pick up sweet green apples, green grapes and has the same sweet malty backbone as the others. My least favourite in the series but still very tasty.

Orange, light amber colour aith a light hazy hue. Frothy lasting medium dark white head with good lacings. Aromas of orange, faint notes of sweet white grapes, gooseberry, dried earth, some caramel malts and floral faintly herbal notes develop. Lightly effervescent qnd lisck textured with a medium body. Fruity gooseberry, grape sweetness up front coherently developping in balance supported by a subtle yet noticeable malt centre and harmonic hop bitterness. Lasting pleasant finish and highly palateable!

Bottle at home, shared with Mathieu87. Compared the Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic, Nelson and Simcoe. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small stable white head. NOSE: fruity, sweet, some alcohol. TASTE: fruity, sweet, lots of pine, nice!

Pours hazy light Amber with a rich firm long lasting head and beautiful lacing. An initial aroma of grape juice turns into passion fruit and hints of resin. A full-bodied taste with a proper bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle. Hazy, bright orangey golden with average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, orangey off-white head. Intense tropical fruity aroma, passion fruit, mango, peach, a slightly herbal touch. Taste delivers identical flavours, crips even peppery, biting bitterness, underlying malt sweetness. Nevertheless not on the same outstanding level as other versions.

33cl. Bottle.
Pours hazy light orange with white head.
Aroma citrus, pine, grapefruit, fruity, some yeast, orange.
Taste caramel fruity sweets, piny citrus bitter.
Mouthfeel creamy, oily.
Great Imp. IPA.

Beautiful aroma from bottle: pine, lemon, grass. From glass weird notes (onion?), didn’t liked them. Nice colour, hazy. Taste of pine and....nothing much more. Some bitterness. Sharp carbonation. After pouring rest from bottle I couldn’t stand the aroma. Maybe this hop isn’t meant for me.

330 ml. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems & Zoon. Poured into my Mikkeller Teku. Hazy bright apricot orange, gorgeous creamy whipped cream white head. Hugely fruity nose, passion fruit & freshly baked croissants, apricots & crazy amounts of flowers, blossoms. Taste is yeasty sweetish dough, akin to dough & apricots, peaches, lightly floral in the back, amazing balance, lots of fruity hops. Passion fruit. Body is yeasty in a good way for once. Very faint booze. Not quite as spectacular as the Citra one, less frutis & more yeast, light sweetness. Still #2 of the series, absolutely loving these. Now some Belgian brewer needs to hire De Proef and produce beers like this one. Delicious.
