3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Botlle from Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours reddish copper with a huge off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a bitter caramel malt flavor with a slightly sour finish. Almost tastes like Belgian yeast was used, even though they used brett.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml corked bottle. A hazy pale to medium amber/orange beer, with a huge, frothy, lightly lacing, mostly lasting white head. The aroma is lightly malty (biscuits), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, grass, lemon), moderately to heavily yeasty (horseblanket, barnyard), with notes of hay, apple skin, mushrooms/must, tropical fruits, some spicy hints. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, dry and quite long finish with moderate bitterness, lightly to moderately alcoholic. There is much Saison in this beer... Nice appearence, but no 5 since the lacing is not very elegant this time. The brett tops the hop in the nose and the balance and mouthfeel are nice. Nice job from both Mikkeller and Anchorage. The only doubt after having this beer is my underevaluation of Galaxy, which I enjoyed probably more than this one. Both are very good, however.
