4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml caged and corked bottle, Batch #2, bottled November 2012. Served in a Unibroue tulip, the beer pours a hazy straw gold color with a couple inch frothy white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is very nice, the brew smells like grassy and citrusy (mango, lemon peel, grapefruit) hops, funk, white grapes and bready malt. It tastes like citrusy (tropical fruit, lemon peel, grapefruit) and grassy hops, brett, apricots, and some herbal/floralness. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit slick and creamy, and is well carbonated. I think it’s a good brew, and definitely worth a try. $13.99 a bottle.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours cloudy deep orange amber with a gigantic cloudy light orange head, slow to dissipate and leaving nice sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma is Brett, pine, citrus. Flavor is the same, lightly sweet, light bitter, light funk. Medium body, champagnelike mouthfeel, creamy. Very nice - I love what Anchorage does with Brett...

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
bottle shared by mathieuc, many thanks! hazy bright yellow with a low white head, little retention, traces of lacing. brett-plenty, fruitiness - pears, wild cherries, and even a tropical touch with few herbs and spices - pepper, cardamom. white grapes and light oaky along with soft barn notes. hint of acidity, medium hopping - citrus-plenty and welcomed resin in this lightly sweet but balanced brew that ends quite bretty-dry for a crisp but also smooth mouthfeel. champagne-like carbonation, light body - almost oily texture, very nice dry bretty and lightly piney but mostly citrus finish. very good brew!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: APR 11, 2013 Bottle from nate321, thanks a lot Nate! Pours cloudy yellow with not much head... Lets dig further. Initial aroma is a full brett attack with hops coming late to the party. Really nice. Not sure if it is coming from the brett or from the hops but I pickup a lot of citrus: orange, grapefruits. In fact there is even some tropical fruit aromas and flavors in there. Taste is dry like it should with a medium-high level of bitterness. Flavors again are of classic brett barnyard with a lot of fruitiness and of course hops shining through. This was a damn fine drink, yo.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle shared with Svans Hærge. Lethal explotion at takeoff. The cork left a serious mark in the ceiling, but was never found again. Poors an enormous bubbling off-white head, which turns into an unclear orange beer. The aroma is magnificent. Horse staple, grapefruit, sweet citrus and herbs. Fresh bubbling palate, wellbalanced complex flavor, ligt acidic, medium sweet and bitter. Moutharoma is very intriguing aswell. Mandarine, grapefruit, herbs and that lovely brett. Awsome

Bottle. Poured clear yellow pale color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy citrus and brett aroma. Medium to full body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus sweet & sour flavor with a medium to heavy sour & citrus finish of moderate duration. This beer exceeded my expectations.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Thanks to Matt for this bottle! Pours a very hazy golden hue, with a large quickly dissipating head. The aroma on this one might be as fresh as I’ve ever smelled in a beer -- pungent, but absolutely delightfully crisp. Vibrant carbonation, too. Take a grassy Belgian farmhouse ale, give it the intrigue of a healthy dose of hops, and then the depth and funk offered by brett -- great concept, and well executed. Flavor is right in line. Dry finish, with lingering grassy hops on the back end. This would be an absolutely ideal sunny summer day brew. I’m impressed!
