From the bottle, hazy orangish gold pour with a white head. Aroma of citrus, funkiness, and yeasty qualities. Taste has a peppery bite to go along with some of the aroma, perhaps a little lemongrass. Funky and good!

Pours a slightly golden peach color with a finger or so of white foam. Dank aromas of brett, citrus, pineapple, sharp cheddar, pine and sweet grass. The palate follows the nose with complexity and layers. Great round mouthfeel starts out with bitter citrus and funks out a bit in the midpalate coming together to fill out the palate and lingers slowly and beautifully. Yummy

750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours cloudy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of floral and citrusy hops, a good amount of caramel and pale malts, some tartness/spiciness from the yeast, and light fruit notes. Flavor a good blend of everything. Average texture. A pretty good beer.

75 cl corked bottle @ home. Pours completely hazy orange with some sediment and a huge, soapy off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is brett, funk, malt, and a hint of hops. Flavour is brett, pepper, malt, and hops – with a dry finish.

Oh so impressed by this! The nose and flavor definitely show distinctly different characteristics. This beer’s aroma is assertive and filled with grapefruit pith, orange rind, and lemon zest. Slight pepper, hay, and Belgian yeast influence as well. Flavor is more subdued. Still shows the black pepper, some funk, biscuit, barnyard, lemongrass but not nearly as bright. Medium mouthfeel. Absolutely delicious!

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2013 Bottle with Slackermads. Pours hazy dark copper with a full lasting, heavy lacing off white huge head. Aroma is grapefruit, quite a lot of barnyard, honey, grass, flowers, grapes, lemon, tangerine, fresh hop, light caramel malt, mango, cedar like wood. Taste is medium sweet, bitter and light sour. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is medium+. Finishes juicy and bitter dry. I haven’t been this exited about the appearance of a light beer for quite a while. The balance of sweetness, brett., hops and light tartness forms a very delicious whole.
