750 bottle to tulip. Pours unfiltered gold, white foam head. Aroma of lemon, clove spice, pine wood, orange rind. Taste of lemon tart, clove, coriander, white bread, stone fruit and old sour white grapes. It’s a good brew. Probably wouldn’t be as good without Mikkeller’s name on it. Haha

750 ml bottle. Slightly hazed pale straw pour. Tall white head, rocky and sticky. Aroma is lemon zest, tropical fruit and spice with a little. The brett influence comes through more in the flavour which while dominated by citrus / tropical hops has some funkiness. Moderate bitter finish with a slight tartness.

I was actually hoping this would give me a state tick for Alaska. Oh well. 15 Euro for this bad boy here, let’s see if it was worth the price. Hazy pale yellow beer wit ha huge white head. Yeasty notes on the nose, with banana and floral aromas. Medium sweet, light sour taste, some weak gentle hops. Aftertaste is almost soapy. Pleasant beer, but underwhelming for the price - also this is anything but an IPA, the classification is a joke.

Hazy pale color, with a big head that holds and leaves a great lace. Strong aroma of tropical fruits, resine, weed buds. Brettanomyces is noticeable. Medium body and good carbonation. Taste is surpringly sweet, with caramel, tropical fruits, resine and citruses notes. Great.

A funky bottle. Tons of Brett and farm notes with a horsehair and floral aroma. The hops are heavy but not especially fruity or resinous. Big bitterness smack with a nice pine and floral note. Body is big with moderate carbonation. Nicely done!

Appearance: cloudy pale straw with a massive overflowing white head gradually settling down to a two finger cap with excellent retention and chunky lacing. (4/5) Aroma: lemon zest, wet straw, tropical fruit, crackery malt. (9/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter, light tart. (9/10) Light body, lively carbonation, astringent lingering funky finish. (4/5) Yep, that’s a Mikkeller brew, all right. Huge overflowing brett head, lemony tartness, and a barnyard funk that just won’t quit. Worth the price? Ehhh… - probably not, but that’s another core character of a Mikkeller brew, right? Works for me! (17/20)

Aroma is clove, lemongrass, soured grapes and a slight earthiness. Taste is sweet malts, tart, clove and light sour notes and a subtle bitterness. Well balanced overall. Appearance is a hazy gold with a fluffy medium head that retains quite well.

750ml corked bottle pours a light hazy golden color with a huge white head that retains well and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is light lemon with some yeasty and spicy notes. Taste is a lemon tartness with a light fruity and malty sweetness and a light earthy and spicy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a respectable farmhouse, but not one of the better ones I have tried.

Bottle shared by Mat C. Color: hazy golden blond beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: grassy and hoppy domination. Floral expression with small brett finish. Nice bouquet. Taste: medium body with superb bitterness. Herbal and fresh balanced with brett notes. Really floral beer. Superb balance. Good attenuation. Aftertaste: astringent with brett sourness and bitterness.

Poured from a large bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a very hazy and cloudy lighter straw-gold-lemon color with a super large, extremely foamy white head with long-lasting retention, and solid cling and lacing. Its aroma featured strong farmhouse style notes, including straw, grain, citrus, and spices, along with some lemon zest, and lighter grassy and pine hops. The taste was somewhat sweet and full of citrus notes, with a sour undertone throughout featuring pine and grass, along with mild bitterness. It was a very lively beer with lots of carbonation and a super bubbly mouthfeel with a thinner body and dry finish, almost with a champagne-like effect.
