25.4 oz bottle, NOV/2012. Misty golden orange with a lacy white head. Nose is grass, hay, earth, sage, toffee and cow pasture. Funkiest aroma i’ve encountered in a while. Medium light with fluffy then sharp carb. Finishes dry and resiny. Taste is pineapple, pine, tangerine, yeast and bitter pith.

Bottle sampled at pizzeria paradiso dupont circle location august 2013 bottled nov 2012 Pours hazy orange hue with a small soapy white head an sparse lacing. Nose of total funk and piney hops lots of uniqie cheese qualities. Flavors of hoppy funky cheese lots of bitterness but extremely dry by the funky yeast qualities. Palate is full slightly sticky witb ample carbonation. This is a world class unique funky ipa here. A lot like galaxy but a lot more bold and over the top. Long grapefruit and resinous finish with lingering cheese and funky quakities.

Bottle, 75 cl. Cloudy orange, huge off white head, slowly diminishing. Overwhelming funky, punky, farty, bretty nose. Dry, grapefruity, urine, farmhouse flavor. Easy drinkable, quite bitter finish.

Picked this up tonight at the Boise COOP for $14... Cheaper than any other place in town. Pours a very hazy pale straw golden... fizzy white head dies back quickly.. light spott lacing. Whoa... the nose is plenty hoppy.. but very buggy.. brett is big lemony essence.. grassy and some barnyard... "Farmhouse" for sure.. piney hops grow with warmth so does the brett. Dry and dusty brett is the big player here... citrus and spicy notes play well.. green apple skin tartness... a heavy pine hoppiness is the finish almost like pine branches. Dry brett finish just lingers forever. Very interesting.. huge carbonation and the expected body... but I doubt I will buy this again.. "one and done"... glad I got the chance, but the quality just did not make me think I want another big purchase. Serving type: bottle

From a 750 purchased at a Lakewood OH store into a tulip. Opens with a pop. Pours clear light straw with an inch or two of head which dissipates into nothing. Zero lacing. Great stanly horse aroma. Mouthfeel is very light with too much carb. Taste is overwhelming funk. Just total Brett funk. A little very bitter hops to back things up. Not sure why this is an IPA. Hops aren't noticeable. If you like Brett this is for you. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared at Craft Ale House. Pours hazy golden coppery with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is tropical fruit, lemongrassy malt, mild yeasty esters. Tastes tropical fruity, with some notes of tartness, fun, florals, and spicy peppery notes. Lively carbonation and a complex flavor and finish. A winner.

Picked up at Whole Foods in Reno, NV. The pour is an orange color and has a very prominent head, white in color – lasts for quite some time and levels off to a thin foamy ring around the glass. Aroma is consistent; it is different and does not seem to hold the same character profile as taste. It has citrus notes, tumbleweed-y/grassy. There are some medicinal (earthy) like characteristics to the beer (like what I find in Immort - but not as strong). Taste is empty for the majority then strikes at the back top of the roof and entrance of throat, hitting the tongue just a tad. Overall, I am very happy I had this beer. IPA’s are one of my fav styles, and I love the magic of Brettanomyces. I find it to be unique and different.
