UPDATED: MAR 2, 2013 Bottle picked up at Whole foods in Las Vegas. Pour is hazy orange with a huge cream head and great lacing. Huge bretty/tropical fruit aroma - herbal, band-aid, mangos, pineapple, grassy, papaya, and mellon. Awesome - so reminiscent of Orval!. Taste is bretty, funky, grassy, floral, doughy, herbal, earthy, fruit, tangy, somewhat spicy, and citrusy with a light bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel with high carbonation. What an awesome beer! I could buy a case of this stuff. . . .In the words of adnielsen - "Fuck yeah!"

Medium orange pour. Frothy head. Nice lacing. Malty aroma with some grass and citrus. Flavor is moderately sweet with a subtle brett flavor and a hoppy finish.

This beer marches on and smells like an old horse bogged down by a few massive bales of hops. Big ol’ leather-filled barnyard, apricot and other fruit, hint of sour tang, pronounced peppery thing, hop and brett stagecoach collision exploding the finish.

750ml bottle. Pours a dark amber with lots of haze and a big eggshell head. Smells like piss...in a good way with antiseptic, band-aids, barnyard and a big ctirus edge. Super funky with those antiseptic notes really playing on the tongue and just enough hopiness to balance over the top of it all. Superb and interesting.

2013-02-02. Hazy pastel orange, small white head. 3++ Lovely citrus aroma, lemon and grapefruit with funky overtones. 7++ Similar flavour, delicious citrus orange and grapefruit and Brett funk. Average bodied palate is effervescent. 3++ Reminds me of Anchorage’s version a fair bit. Lovely! Bottle at Sourfest, Buffalo

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2013 75cl bottle. Pours a clear dark orange colour with a huge amount of white head, very nice. Citrusy hops on the nose, with orange and lemon at similar proportions. The flavour definitely confirms an acid touch accompanying the sweet malts, leaving behind a pleasant metallic bitterness. Good body, and it’s not over-carbonated at all despite the enormous head at the begining. So juicy and peculiar, that’s a very good IPA.

750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a hazy gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of barnyard, straw, lemon zest, pepper and grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, barnyard funk, lemon zest, grapefruit and white pepper with a crisp dry bitter lingering funky grapefruit finish.

Bottle up in Tahoe: popped the cork and there was some modest overflowing. Pours clear apricot, fizzy sand colored 2 finger head. Lots of Brett carbonation letting you know its presence. Nose- wow. Potent lemongrass, Brett funk barnyard, spearmint, apricot, grapefruit, green freshness. One of the best noses on a beer I've ever been exposed to. Flavors are extremely solid. Leather, Brett tartness, mild bittering, herbal and floral hops melding beautifully with the barnyard funk saison tartness then mellows on the finish. Perfection almost? From the bottle, hazy orangish gold pour with a white head. Aroma of citrus, funkiness, and yeasty qualities. Taste has a peppery bite to go along with some of the aroma, perhaps a little lemongrass. Funky and good!
