3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
First let me say that this bottle was purchased of a room temp shelf in Dublin. When the cage was removed the cork exploded and the bottle erupted. Nothing but cat piss and brett on the nose, no fruit no citrus like other deScriptions have mentioned. Way to much off white/tan head. Mouth feel is thin, flavors are muddled and muted. hops flavor coming through as a bit of citrus with lingering bitterness. I can taste hints greatness, masked unfortunately, by the mishandling of this beer. :-(

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a large bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a very hazy and cloudy lighter straw-gold-lemon color with a super large, extremely foamy white head with long-lasting retention, and solid cling and lacing. Its aroma featured strong farmhouse style notes, including straw, grain, citrus, and spices, along with some lemon zest, and lighter grassy and pine hops. The taste was somewhat sweet and full of citrus notes, with a sour undertone throughout featuring pine and grass, along with mild bitterness. It was a very lively beer with lots of carbonation and a super bubbly mouthfeel with a thinner body and dry finish, almost with a champagne-like effect.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 10/2015. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, lime, pineapple, peach, mango, peppercorn, pine, citrus rind, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, floral, grass, light leather/musty funk, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, lime, pineapple, peach, mango, peppercorn, pine, citrus rind, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, floral, grass, light leather/musty funk, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, lime, pineapple, peach, mango, peppercorn, pine, citrus rind, hay, straw, floral, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness from carbonation, bitterness, and yeast spiciness as well. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately sticky, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding Belgian IPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750mL bottle. Hazy pale yellow-gold pour, big foamy white face with exceptional retention and lace. Nose is funk forward, Brett, lilies, lemongrass, hay, minerals. Mouth is medium-full, bright citrus notes riding a funky wave of Brett, light sweetness, medium bitterness, bread dough, slightly tart. Way more like a hoppy Saison than an IPA but whatever. Its very tasty.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle. hazy golden with one finger head. light body with medium brett funk. quite fruity, though not quite tart. moderate bitterness, but the flavors blend pretty well in this case. strikes me as less of a IPA and more of an hoppy funk-forward saison. good stuff.
