UPDATED: JAN 30, 2013 Bottle. A bit hazy copper orange with a thick frothy nicely lacing white head. Aroma is brett; damp hay, grass, horse, pepper with some fresh hops underneath; lime, pine. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter, light sour, medium+ body, texture starts off watery but shifts to oily, medium+ carbonation. Finish has some dry lemon bitterness and brett in the nose. Bottle emptied quickly as always with Anchorage.

Bottle shared with northropfrye. Spicy, fruity, floral, citrusy aroma. The colour of sunshine, pure white head. Bright on the palate. Lingering citrus and floral tasting notes. Bitter like the pith of a grapefruit. A unique IPA full of flavour.

Yellow body with lasting flay white head and lacing. Light citrus aroma, very fresh smelling, some funk. Taste is also an interesting blend of piney ipa with saison and bretty funk. Nice beer.

Murky copper in colour, very large white head, excellent lacing. Aroma is very funky, citrus, lemons, soapy. Flavour is very funky, lots of barnyard, lots of citrus, oranges and lemons. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, high carbonation. Finishes very long, very funky. Holy shit, this is just crazy. What kind of yeast are they using at Anchorage?

From the bottle (with drippy faced guy with a guy popping up out of the top of his head on the bottle): It’s fairly pale golden with ample, well-sustained white foam. The aroma is earthy and dank but with bright astringency; lemon/ grapefruit zest with wet horse blankets. The flavor is pretty much the same; bright astringency but the bitterness is very smoothed out, with some funky low notes that work, somehow. IPA? I guess, since the abv is up there, technically, this may fall on the edge of IIPA, but the bitterness and body wouldn’t stand up for IIPA. The mouthfeel has a touch of syrup and holds up will as it warms. It’s lemony ad funky, and, for some reason, I like it.

lear golden orange with a foamy white head. Nice big citrus hops, barn yard funk, musty grain, and straw aroma. Tastes of orange, apple, pear, straw, and caramel with a dry musty and earthy Brett funkiness to the finish. Bright slightly sticky palate

From corked/caged bottle with painted label showing a green dripping block face. Pours brassy golden with good clarity and white halo of tight bubbles that show some lacing. Lychee and passion fruit aromatics turn to mild shellac, grapefruit pith and funky cheese on the nose, white grape juice and fresh pineapple sweetness with basement flavors, drying-- almost bracing-- towards finish, lean body and champagne-level carbonation; an elegant showcase of brett and tropical fruity hops. Pithy bitter notes coat the tongue as it warms.

A mildly hazed sunny yellow body sits beneath a 1.5" tight white frothy head falling slowly to a solid ring and a few low lying dots and blobs of lace

Flavors and aromas are funky, juicy, spicy, and tart, white pepper and woody spice merges into juicy tropical fruit, fresh white grape, and chardonnay with basement and juicy sock brett components on a silky smooth, creamy yet drying medium body with a building, bone dry residual full of the previously mentioned components, plenty of damp, dusty basement, a touch of sweet tart

750ml bottle thanks to Adam. Pours out a hazy golden amber topped with a fluffy head. Nose is lots of tropical fruit brett and a nice sweetness. Taste is more of the brett and the pleasant tropical fruit hops.

Pours cloudy golden / orange with a sturdy white pillowy head. The aroma has fruity hops, pineapple, cobwebs, wild yeastiness, mango, smooth citrus and cream. It has a medium body that’s pretty lush and has lots of soft carbonation. The flavor starts with pineapple, rich malt, earthy brett, mango, spice, light sulfur and pleasing mushiness. The finish has cellar must, fruitiness and powder. Great funky IPA.
