This beer marches on and smells like an old horse bogged down by a few massive bales of hops. Big ol’ leather-filled barnyard, apricot and other fruit, hint of sour tang, pronounced peppery thing, hop and brett stagecoach collision exploding the finish.

bottle. hazy golden with one finger head. light body with medium brett funk. quite fruity, though not quite tart. moderate bitterness, but the flavors blend pretty well in this case. strikes me as less of a IPA and more of an hoppy funk-forward saison. good stuff.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2015 Bottle from Asahiya, shared at Craft Beer Picnic. The cork shot out and it exploded everywhere, despite not being agitated. L: was a thick dark orange, tonnes of head, as it settled it looked like apricot juice. S: lots of sweet fruit, hoppy aromas. T: a mix of fruits with a sour finish, plenty of Brett, nice underlying hop bitterness. Good balance. F: very refreshing and tart mouthfeel, not too puckery. Lingering citric taste. O: very enjoyable and I’d like to see more beers blend these sour and bitter aspects.

Mikkeller Invasion Farmhouse IPA, bottle shared by Jeremy. A cloudy vibrant orange gold. The nose is super fruity hops, somewhat artificial seeming. Lovely hyperactive soft bodied beer. The taste is zesty lemon fruity hops. The taste is farmhouse lemon and bready light malts.

4/3/15. 750mL bottle shared by Tim, I believe. Golden orange pour with a nice khaki head, mild lacing. Good aroma, nice Brett funk, mild tartness, tropical fruits, some citrus. Okay flavor, bitter, a bit minerally, mild funk and fruitiness. Not bad.

Hazy gold pour, with quite a bit of sediments. Smells very much like lemon curd and dry. Jammy flavour, with citrussy notes and dryness. Quite well carbonated and full-bodied. Nice Palate!

Delicious. Heady and funky with a long-lasting bitterness of pine and grass from the hops, pineapple at the first taste and subtle brett tang.

(Bottle, 0.75 l, at laiti’s, 20150613) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, grass and mildly tartness. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were grass, pine, sourness, malts, tartness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sour, hoppy and bitter. A tasty hoppy and sour brew.

750ml bottle (Alus Celle, Riga)
Pale orange. Simple saisony aroma. Ditto taste. Cleanish. A bit of a herbal aspect. Pretty boring funky ipa, a classic case of "chuck in a brett cube". But not actually bad in any way, just unimaginative. Did cover the alcohol quite well, although the palate did get a bit heavy and heady at times.

750ml bottle @Laiti’s thanks. Hazy golden color. Small size, white head, stays. Malty, grains, some hops, yeasty aroma. Smells like typical nowaday saison. Yeasty, fruity, marmalade, farmhouse dusty taste. Fruity marmalade mixed with yeast in aftertaste. Crisp mouthfeel. Grainy bitterness.
