3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sour and yeasty nose with a sparkling dryness to the head with a mild yellow murk of a body. Breezy lemon pine initial taste, brightening with the carbonation and a mild hop rise. Tough to feel around the sourness with it being so cold, disappointing brett punch, but you can feel your way around the hop profile fairly quickly. Dry and sweet Brett finish light Refresher bar dust is a really nice touch, but perhaps the only standout aspect.
This is the Mikkeller Iíd give my mum to drink. Intentionally unbold and unbrave, but a refreshing tickle all the same. Iíve not had one in some time, not exactly fireworks in the glass. Reasonably priced for what you get mind.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Wet, a little funky, slight sour smell, maybe a little light leathery apricot/pear. Light pear color and transparent, slight foamy , white head, a little bubbly, head pours a little thicker, dissipates, but still holds. The tastes is a little mediciny, some bitter note on the back end of the palate, maybe a little upfront lingering on the tongue and a bit on the roof, carbonation is present. Overall, the aroma I enjoyed, the appearance is pretty, the taste is unexpected, definitely still enjoy any of the Mikkeller beers as they are fun to experience, but not one I would go after again, not a lot to it in the overall sense.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle (330ml from Vino Wines, Edinburgh):
Strong yeast to start with some good fruity aromas following this with a slightly sour smell coming through and a little lemon. Not a whole lot going on with this one in the smell department but itís not particularly bad either.
Golden amber colour that has orange tinges and is topped with a very foamy looking, white head that is about two centimetres tall and holds very well.
Again yeast upfront with a fruity taste of mainly apples and pears following this, there is also a semi-sour flavouring in there towards the end. Not a taste that I enjoyed and definitely not one of the better Mikkeller beers out there.
Very lively carbonation, definitely high and with a citrus tang hitting you straight away. The beer is quite a dry one, too dry in fact and the body is light medium.
This one looked really good when I poured it and the smell, although not the best wasnít a particularly bad one but upon trying the beer I quickly discovered it was the worst Mikkeller beer Iíve tried to date, it just didnít really have anything going for it in the way of depth or good taste.
