Bottle. Poured a hazy copper color with a white frothy head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour yeast, wood and fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a tingly texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet fruit flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.

12.7oz bottle, from Dutchís. Code on the cap reads 4911301. Upon popping the cap, foam wills up the neck of the bottle but stops short at spilling over. With the yeast, this pours a cloudy amber orange red color. Thin off-white head, leaving good thicker sheets of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft and effervescent carbonation, yet it never feels too strongly carbonated. Really interesting flavor. In the nose, lots of pleasant, wild, citrusy funk, and a very interesting barrel character. Interesting fruitiness of the barrel, plus lots of other bright tropical citrusy aromas dancing about. Really dig it. Moderate tart taste, moderate bitter, kind of more dry finish, light to moderate sweet -- not too sweet, and a little bit of nice liquer warmth that lingers on the back of the palate alongside of the funk. Really enjoyable stuff overall. A pleasure to enjoy with my sandwich, even. I think the bright texture and heavier body helped with that.

Backlog rating. 37.5cl bottle from BD shop. It pours a hazy peach color with e medium off-white head. Aroma is somewhat milder than expected, with notes of citric funk, orange peel, vanilla, burnt wood. Taste is mildly yeasty and medium sweet, with a short tangy citrousy finish. Notes of bread dough, lemon juice, orange blossom, light booze, candy sugar, barnyard. Medium bodied with creamy texture and good carbonation. Overall, not bad in any sense but expecting more

Aroma is yeast, caramel and liquor. The flavor is liquor overtones, malts, caramel, mild barrel/fruit notes and a mildly warming finish.

Pours a orangish color with a funny head that thins out but manages to leave a good bit of lacing on the glass.

The aroma is most certainly funky. Itís a pleasant mix of leathery, fruity, & oaky character with a touch of sweet orange in there.

The flavor is tart & earthy. It has some orange & apple. I had another bottle recently that was considerably more sour than this one, and I liked it better... but this one does have a good amount of dryness & tart fruit character. There is certainly some liqueur character to it & some orange peel, but tested blind I canít ever imagine that Iíd guess it was done in a a Gran Marnier barrel. The beer has retained a bit of itís leafy happiness & that works well in the mix.

Itís really a very agreeable, pleasant, & complex beer all around.

Very vibrant in appearance. Mouthfeel is creamier than expected. I am not picking up the grand marnier much here but this is pleasant nonetheless. Has a wet hay/barnyard sort of feel, which is slightly restrained.

Bottle at BD Shoreditch. Not getting any cognac here, but so what? This is vinous, sour/sweet, vermouth(??) , little malt. Sour vermouth (??) plenty funky farmer, gooseberry. Medium sweet then massive dryness. Mahorboro!

Bottle. Teku glass. Amber gold, hazy, two finger head, medium lasting, low lacing. The aroma is nice brett, earthy, wood, bu also fresh, some basement aromas, fruity and citrus, touch of booze. The taste is very refreshing and dry, not so sour. The beer is definitely dry, in the middle grand marnier sensations, which make it more smooth and a little bit sweet. Body is medium, creamy, with lively carbonation and dry finish. In overall very refreshing beer, which makes you alive.
