Deep amber pour. Aroma is barnyard funk, and light grape notes. Flavour is quite funny, lychee flavours are interesting and add a neat mouth feel. Finish is more Brett flavours. Unique.

375 ml bottle. Pours a dark orange/amber with moderate to full head and lots of carbonation. Aromas of green oak, white wine, and toasted malts. Flavors of wet wood/light funk, durian, melons and malts. Somewhat sour and creamy. Interesting mix.

Shared 12.7 oz. bottle, and poured to snifters, showing a hazed, amber/brown tone, with a modest layer of off white head foam, and light dots & dashes as lacing. The nose was yeasty meatiness, and "grandmaís attic" funk. The flavor moderately carried forward the funkiness, and presented some esters, and tartness. Medium bodied, with low carbonation, the hop bitterness was earthy, there was a bit of betadine in the taste, and the texture finished thin. Not what I expected, and was rather disappointed.

3/4/14. 375mL bottle from the Louisville Beer Store. Brown pour with a small khaki head. Floral and sweet aroma, sweeter and creamy white wine aspects, bready, perfumey, fruity. Sweet flavor, plain, malty, more sweetness, fruity, a solid dose of vinegar. Meh.

Bottle. Close to clear hazelnut brown with a medium sized creamy off white head. Wood, light barnyard, glue, fruit stack, over ripe fruits. Canít tell itís lychee, but lots of fruit notes, very pleasant aroma. Medium sweet and bitter, soft carbonation, soft mouthfeel. Pretty good stuff.

Crompt (113) - York, South Carolina, USA - MAR 2, 2014
Very balanced sour and really not terribly sour at all. Almost wish it was more funky and sour which is rare for me to say. Would try again if I got to bum another from my brother krompt but not sure worth the price tag.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell during the Gunnar Tasting. Thanks! Pours clearish gold with a creamy head. The nose has jammy berries and white grapes. Medium sweet flavor with light funk, further white grape, mellow tang. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with notes of poo, jam, citrus, more white grape. Alright.

Appearance: Hazy amber/copper with 2 finger thick ivory head. Aroma: Strong Brett and leather, cellar, earthy, bandaid (plaster for Brits), subtle fruitiness, vinous. Taste: Medium/high sourness, low/medium bitterness and sweetness. Palate: Thin grainy texture, light/medium body, average/prickly carbonation, very dry, lingering, bitter, tart, Brett, leathery, bandaid finish.very subtle lychee this appeared right at the end. Comments: Lovely, despite the description, not much lychee but plenty of plaster and a hint of TCP! Glass lace. The overall experience was my cup of tea.

Bottle shared at Proof (tried next to White Wine, USAlive). This one was a little more tart than regular wine edition. Also more dry. Didnít catch much of the lychee. Yeast, grape juice, oak. Very nice. - 7.8
