4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance: Hazy amber/copper with 2 finger thick ivory head.
Aroma: Strong Brett and leather, cellar, earthy, bandaid (plaster for Brits), subtle fruitiness, vinous.
Taste: Medium/high sourness, low/medium bitterness and sweetness.
Palate: Thin grainy texture, light/medium body, average/prickly carbonation, very dry, lingering, bitter, tart, Brett, leathery, bandaid finish.very subtle lychee this appeared right at the end.
Comments: Lovely, despite the deScription, not much lychee but plenty of plaster and a hint of TCP! Glass lace. The overall experience was my cup of tea.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lasting yellowish white head atop a cloudy, sediment-filled brown body. Nose of a dubbel with some metallic undertones. Good yeasty flavour, lemon, tin and some solid malt in the background. Very interesting. I like it.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
8%ABV. Wild Ale.
Tapped out a brown amber color, dusky and cloudy at about 20ļSRM.
Nose is full deep alcoholic flavors. Sweet, darkly roasted malts. There are residual hints of stewed sweet fruits, definitely honeyed dates.
Pronounced carbonation nicely balances alcholic palate that carries all the brooding dark toasted, sweet malty flavors with a light alcoholic palate and a dry ume finish.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
At Delirium Hoppy Loft Bar. Lychee aroma leaps out, backed with grainy malt, white wine aroma leading to a bubbly dry finish. Really like the dryness and the balance. this is a really well crafted beer. The lychee flavour is unusual and adds something different to a Sour Ale.

Bottle at Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Pours light golden color with a white head and nice lacing. Aroma of Belgian yeast and spices, nice malt character, and distinct sour notes (maybe from the Lychee?). Sweet and sour. Flavor is similar. Really interesting but tough to describe. I really enjoyed it.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
(375ml bottle @ VilleValla Pub, LinkŲping, Apr 14 2015) Pours hazy deep orange with a moderate off white head and lace. Aroma sweet and funky with brown sugar, stewed fruit, overripe lychee, a little woody, a wet, earthy, barnyard funk. Palate sweet and a bit tart. Caramel and brown sugar, stewed pear and apple, lychee juice, even a little orange juice. Funk builds nicely in the middle, oak and some white wine and grape notes too. Finish is dry and softly bitter, woody, citrus peel, lingering lychee, a bit astringent. Medium full body with effervescent carb. Great beer, really pleasantly surprised me! Not sour, just funky and sweet/dry balanced. Fruit is nice, lychee present but not overpowering. Love it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Medium pale beige head. Hazy brownish red body with strong carbonation. Tropical fruit, strawberry and barnyard aroma with salty cow dung notes. Dry-sweet and faintly acidic barnyard, lychee, and strawberry taste with salty wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, flattish mouthfeel. Dry-salty wooden barnyard and fruit aftertaste with wooden spicy notes. A bit harsh at first, but fantastic when you get further. (0.375l bottle at ōl & BrÝd, Copenhagen.)

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle from 2012. Pours a deep golden amber brown with two inches of bubbly supportive head. The head never faded completely, just stayed at about a centimeter. Great lacing and legs. Aroma is of white wine funkiness, white oak, vegetal earthiness and a floral fruitiness. Taste is dry fruity oak, light grassy funk, and a hint of black pepper. Nice body but itís light on the tongue. Tons of carbonation but it doesnít dance on the tongue. This might be my favorite beer from Mikkeller. Iím not picking up on the lychee much, but that grassy fruitiness is probably just the lychee playing in the background; but iíl liken the fruitiness more to a pear or Ranier cherry than lychee.
