Pours apricot with a large, quickly settling white head. Aroma is very nice with caramel, mango, lychee upfront that gives way to sugared figs, honey, white wine. Taste is caramel, sauteed apples, lychee, honey, figs, grapes. Muthfeel is slightly tart and full-bodied though not creamy. Aftertaste is white wine, honey, lychee, slight oak notes. Very well balanced. Superb!

Bottle. Poured a cloudy amberish color with an averaged sized off white head. Funky, woody, vinous, and fruity. Iím not too familiar with Lychees, but Iím assuming thatís the sweet fruitiness Iím getting.

12.7oz bottle in a tulip. Pours ruby/amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of light tartness, lychees, spices and fruits, some pale and caramel malts, and light bitterness. Flavor the same with a nice blend of the lychee into the wild ale. Average texture. A pretty good beer.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled, BB 19/04/16, large sample. Initially clear amber to copper color, big light brown head. Aroma of white wine, oak wood, grapes, farmhouse, barnyard, tropical fruit, hint of lychee, caramel, hint of vanilla, flowery hop almost lavender like. Quite dry in taste, bit sweet, soft lactic sourness, fruity as well. Slight alcohol burn. Lovely aroma. Taste is slightly harsh and dry, but the softness of the fruit compensates a bit. Good brew.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (375 ml). Thanks to Kevin for this one! Clear amber/golden with a medium mostly lasting off-white head and some lacing. Aroma is winey with lychee, brettanomyces, caramel and grapes. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet with white wine, caramel, lychee, brettanomyces, candi sugar, grapes and light funk. Light to medium body. Good carbonation. Slightly winey mouthfeel. Good Sour Ale! Slightly better than the White Wine Edition; the lychee add a nice fruity touch. Drinkable.
