Dark amber, medium carbonation. Smell is tart apples, spiced apple cider, vinegar. Taste is sweet and slightly bitter up front, with a tingle of tartness a moment later. This intrigued me immediately, but it took a several sips to decide I really like it.

Amber with a big fizzy head that falls quickly. Big Brett aroma, dill, pepper, barnyard. Taste is lots of Brett, sweet and bitter, string alcohol, some oak. Not particularly bad but not working for me.

375ml bottle served in a tulip glass. A: Pours an cloudy amber color forming a huge fizzing beige head. Soapy and very persistent. Many lingering lacings left in the glass S: Very fruity. Mild sourness in the nose. Strong notes of grapes and white wine. Notes of sweet malts too. Wood and some grassy hops in the very end. No alcohol could be noticed T: Taste is just great. The sort of beer that I like. Slightly sweet upfront, followed by a smooth fruity sourness and a solid malts backbone. End is balanced hoppy bitterness. Strong notes of grapes, caramel malts and white wine. Notes of wood. Hops are earthy and grassy. Bitterness is moderate but present. No alcohol could be noticed in the taste too M: Heavy body. A little bit molasses but more watery. Good carbonation. Fruit and mild sour/bitter aftertaste O: Great drinkability. Great beer. Solid [ BA Review @ 6/8/2013 ]

Vildgær og Brett. Og hvidvin. Desværre synes jeg altid hvidvinsfadlagring lugter af dårlig papvin. Den er fin men ikke ligeså god som den regulære. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Botttle. Hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma of barnyard, dirt, leather and orange fruits. Flavour is sweet with notes of caramel and oranges. Plenty of white wine apparent.

"An interesting spin on the original It’s Alive, but I beleive I easily like the base better. A little too dependent on the winey notes in both aroma and flavor...and i’m a bigger fan of red wine barreled stuff to begin with. Still pretty aggressively bretty and tart, but the sum of the parts is a small step backwards, especially for the $$."

Very disappointing beer. Pretty off-putting smell. Very funky with really weird notes. Taste was even worse. It wasn’t sour as expected and had some really gross rotten vegetable taste. Alcohol was also pretty evident. Maybe I had a bad bottle.

37,5c bottle at home. Deep orange hazy colour, big lively off-white head. Complex aroma, definitely bretty, earthy, malty and nuanced white wine tones. Taste too is very complex with the mentioned tones, rounded tardness with green apple and vinegar, more defined white wine notes, cask on a bed of soft and creamy malts. Medium carbonation, dry mouthfeel, good body. Unlike anything I ever tasted before, very nice.

On tap at Mikkeller’s Øl & Brød, paired with a dish of rare-cooked beef in plum and madeira wine sauce. Unclear amber, white head. Aroma of citrus, taste is sour, very round, fantastic.
