Forgotten review from May 3, 2011. the pour is a muddy orange/murky brown with notes of pale gold and two finger cap of yellowish head. Great carbonation in the body. The nose is FUNKYYYY!! with fruits, nice acetic note, acidic lemon juice with notes of apple and pear. The taste is almost of a super dry white wine with huge dry fruity finish and nice brett. The taste is really weird with big barnyard funk and moderate brett with sourness. almost tastes like sweat.

Bottle thanks to Boutip! Pours a dark gold color with white head. Aroma is quite potente, very bretty, totally reminiscent of Orval, surprisingly little barrel presence in the aroma, I would have expected more. Alcohol is present in both the aroma and taste. The barrel is easier to pick up in the taste, where strong oaky, winey notes mix with the wild and funky brettanomyces acidity. Palate is well carbonated and very dry, with a slight warming alcohol finish. Very nice, dangerously drinkable for the ABV.

(375ml bottle best by 11/8/18 thanks to bu11zeye) clear amber-orange with effervescent bubbles and a creamy lasting head. Nose of brett-C, tart, floral, a bit of cherry, and rose. Complex. Taste is floral, brett-C, tart, rose hips, very carbonated but a soft body nonetheless.

From tap. Poured a medium brown, opaque and soft. Smells sour and acidic, hoppy. Tastes sweet, with grape and traces of wine. Medium body.

On tap; pour is murky medium golden with a moderate fine bubbled off white head in this tulip. Sticky lacing is present as well. The nose is caramel, funk, lemons, and grassy hops. The flavor profile is fruity; apricots, melons, sweet caramel, grassy hops, and a hint of citrus. Its a little sweet by my estimation. There are some earthy, spicy elements that round out the flavor profile. This is a nice one, for sure.

Cloudy nutty brown. Sweet like cotton candy plus a little lemon and maybe, what, vanilla? Starts off in the mouth with a big infusion of everything. Nice bitter that fades to dry.

Bottle, 9.0%. Gusher. Citric aroma, vinous and sourish, a bit of old wet rag. Cloudy dark amber colour. Big semi-stable tan head. The flavour starts off rather sweet, then comes a good citric note, more wet rag. Good funky and citric Brett flavour. High carbonation. Does not taste 9%, and I would have preferred it to be weaker with the same flavour.

Bottle courtesy of Streets shared w Streets Andy Erica in 47B as we prepare for Hurricane Irene (by playing Risk). Awesome sour/tart aroma, topheavy mirky orange pour with huge head. Classic Belgian flavor with some floral notes and clean, tasty delivery. Light- to medium-bodied with a quick finish. I like.
