Danish: En vild belgisk ale brygget på: vand, malt (pale og cara), lys kandis, humle (hallertau og styrian golding), gær og brettanomyces. Lagret 7 måneder på hvidvinsfade.

English: It’s Alive!!! Indeed it is. This Belgian Ale has been aged on White Wine barrels to give it that touch of alcohol, while the Brettanomyces give the tartness. Complex but well balanced beer.

On tap at Biero. Great beer, cidery aroma, but sweet in the mouth. Aroma of apples, dough, and caramel. Taste is sweet, with only a hint of sourness, and long length. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Orange, with a creamy head.

not quite sour, but there’s a bit hiding underneath. there is a specifically vaginal perfume. Really noticeable, and actually very pleasing for being the result of yeast production...anyway, there’s a strawberry-like aroma happening in this beer that is really pleasing. pretty serious hop bitterness on the whole tongue, not just the sides. really nice fruit complexity happening in this- long live the wild yeasts!

375ml bottle from IPB.
Appearance : Clear amber with big foamy white head. Lots of lacing.
Aroma : Big brett presence with lots of wood. Some tannins with light fruity notes.
Palate : Carbonation quite lively.
Taste : Big brett with lots of wood. Some alcohol with some spices. Finish big brett with lots of wood. Rather dry.
Overall : At first the brett felt a bit too intense and a bit too artificial. Got a bit more balanced with time. Nice wood. A little bit too much alcohol. Quite good but I’m not such a big fan of those brett bombs.

Bottle. Poured clear dark orange/brown color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy fruit, sour and alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy complex sour & sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met.

Draft from Backcountry pizza. Pours brown with a nice white head. Definite fruitiness on the nose. Nice Belgian yeast notes with a touch of sourness on the tongue. Quite lively and lovely.

A clear red/brown colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of some sour dough with fruits. The taste of fruits like apricot with some vanilla. There is a nice bitter. The aftertaste is dry, sweet with some bitter and winery.

Forgotten review from May 3, 2011. the pour is a muddy orange/murky brown with notes of pale gold and two finger cap of yellowish head. Great carbonation in the body. The nose is FUNKYYYY!! with fruits, nice acetic note, acidic lemon juice with notes of apple and pear. The taste is almost of a super dry white wine with huge dry fruity finish and nice brett. The taste is really weird with big barnyard funk and moderate brett with sourness. almost tastes like sweat.

Bottle thanks to Boutip! Pours a dark gold color with white head. Aroma is quite potente, very bretty, totally reminiscent of Orval, surprisingly little barrel presence in the aroma, I would have expected more. Alcohol is present in both the aroma and taste. The barrel is easier to pick up in the taste, where strong oaky, winey notes mix with the wild and funky brettanomyces acidity. Palate is well carbonated and very dry, with a slight warming alcohol finish. Very nice, dangerously drinkable for the ABV.

(375ml bottle best by 11/8/18 thanks to bu11zeye) clear amber-orange with effervescent bubbles and a creamy lasting head. Nose of brett-C, tart, floral, a bit of cherry, and rose. Complex. Taste is floral, brett-C, tart, rose hips, very carbonated but a soft body nonetheless.

From tap. Poured a medium brown, opaque and soft. Smells sour and acidic, hoppy. Tastes sweet, with grape and traces of wine. Medium body.
