Really complex aroma, the White wine barrel comes through hard, with a follow up of Brett yeast. A beer geek’s aroma! Lively carbonation .

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle as a leaving UK gift from G and Tasha - thanks guys. Poured into a snifter, burnt amber, small white head. Soft vinous aroma, slightly tart and woody, some gooseberries and lemon. Medium carbonation. Mild plastic, white bread, a woody bitterness. Somewhat hot and boozy, a heady alcoholic heat to it. Finishes very dry with lingering heat. Feels like drinking vodka and soda, which is probably not the intention.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Dark copper color, big white head. Aroma of barnyard, hay, brett and white grape. Deliciously soft and creamy taste of horseblanket, brett, oak, slightly boozy white wine, candi vanilla and a little caramel and old hops in the finish. Barrel aging works quite well. Really good beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Hazy golden pour with head. Light white wine, some sour aromas and a touch of off tone. Why does this have smoke flavors, otherwise light tart and Belgian tones.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at barrel aged tasting at Appellation Wines Comely Bank.
I enjoyed the intermingling of sour, bitter and also sweetness in parts. The sweetness was a barrel thing - mainly toffee and perhaps vanilla a little. But this was washed away by the bitterness but mainly the sourness. Great palate.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Murky amber, greasy brown envelope. Funky grapefruit, grassy and speckles of tangerine. Initial taste is lean gummy bitter, droplets of sherry clementine and clean grapefruit. Fairly fizzy and fairly brisk mouthfeel. Lean seabuckthorny bitter (I guess), linger is soured chalk.Pale golden, sultry filmy and off white head. Peppery creamy chalky nose. Initial taste is lean crisp juicy lychee and white grapefruit, very crisp and creamy. Lean acidic but ABV is completely bypassed. Not juicy or too chalky dry, finishes lean crisp spicy grapefruit and a dry dusty linger. Bottle, Cheers Paul.
