This one has a strong sugar candy aroma. It’s appearance is sparking bronze. Flavor is lemon zest (bitter finish). It flows across the palate like carbonated water. Overall it is a little too sweet for my taste.

375ml bottle poured into a pint glass. Sparkling bronze with ample white head. Aroma is candy sugar. Flavor is also candy with some lemon zest. High carbonation. A bit too sweet for my taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Poured pale amber with a meidum-sized off-white head. Aroma was moderately bretty, quite musty. Flavor was bretty, only mildly sour, lots of sweet caramel. Wood and white wine present. Moderately bitter. Very dry on the finish. Bit like a bretty IPA.

Bottled from Biernavigatie.nl. Very dark red colored, lasting thick off-white head. Strong lambic-like nose, very fruity, little bit of brett. Fruity sour flavor, white wine definitely apparant, some brett and yeast. Very dry finish, almost no sourness. Seems to lean a lot more on lambic than brett flavors compared to the lychee version i had before. The white wine shines through a bit too much, pushing away the other flavors. Still a very good beer, but this version may not be worth the price, while (at least for me) the lychee version definitely is.

375 ml. bottle split by 4 @ Kulminator in the new Mikkeller & Friends glasses. Pours a bright, slightly orange amber with a big creamy, slowly lacing white head. Nose makes me thing of noble rot bacteria, musty barrel, brett, slightly mouldy grapes, sweet spices, odd. Did they use a noble rot wine? Taste is mouldy sweetish white grapes, old barrel, noble rot bacteria, white grapes, tangy brett, lightly funky, fruity, malt sweetness. Slightly light & oily body. Not bad but not worth the price – feels a bit like a slightly lesser Funky (e) star.

750 ML bottle Clear orange amber color. Big, fluffy white head. Soapy lacing with a persistent head. Oak, brett, white grape skin, white wine, peach, and apple. More fruit driven than funk driven. Taste again is fruit driven. Lots of apricots, peaches, apple, grape, oak and white wine. Some funk, no sourness. Some bread and caramel in the finish. Medium bodied, light carbonation. Might need a bit more though to pick this up. Interesting enough

Hazy brownish orange. Small soapy white head, lasting. Yeasty, Brett, Funkalicious, woody, grape skins. Light body, soft, lively. Starts sweet/tart. Finish is smooth-woody-dry...what a transition! Some lasting funk left over. Lots of accessible character is here.
