Danish: En vild belgisk ale brygget på: vand, malt (pale og cara), lys kandis, humle (hallertau og styrian golding), gær og brettanomyces. Lagret 7 måneder på hvidvinsfade.

English: It’s Alive!!! Indeed it is. This Belgian Ale has been aged on White Wine barrels to give it that touch of alcohol, while the Brettanomyces give the tartness. Complex but well balanced beer.

Bottle to teku. Amber pour with a thick bone white head that laces quite a bit. Nose is very tart. Sweet hay and grapes. Taste hits bitter hay up front that is quickly taken over by sweet belgian yeast and white wine grape sweetness. The bitter hay comes back in the finish.

Bottle. Pours a reddish brown with light foamy white head. Funky aroma with notes of white wine, barnyard, and light fruit. Nice fruity flavor with a slightly dusty finish. Unique, slightly sweet pear-like flavors toward finish. Light body, lively mouthfeel.

A sour and sweet aroma of vanilla, caramel, and granny Smith apples. Hazy copper with thick tan head and beautiful thick lace. Taste is a subtle caramel sweetness balanced with sour apple and finished with mild grapefruit bitterness. Palate is very nice, bubbly and fizzy, just a touch watery. Overall, this is a top tier brew, very nice!

From bottle. Dark amber. Lasting orangey head. Nose is 100% sour yeast. Sharp sourness. Bitterness followed by subtle sweetness on end of sip. Notes of green apple, mild caramel, dry white wine. Did notice ABV on first sips...

Bottle at home, from Beermerchants.com, listed as 9% ABV 02/01/14. Pours a murky golden amber with a big billowing creamy off white cap that collapses then stays for the show. Nose carries light floral notes, on the turn apricot yoghurt, dank wood, pissoi, soured grapes, musty, dry rot. Taste comprises peaches and cream (tarte and soured), dank wood, faint herbal strain, floral notes, barnyard, funky. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte puckering closure with a sweet tingle. Nice sour, quite a bit going on here without being overly complex and staying an easy drinker that I rattled off on my own in 20 or so minutes.

MacBoost (1452) - Pouring Bus, New York, USA - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle from box aroma, pours a deep cloudy amber with plenty of off white head offered. Aroma is tricky to fuck, clocking in with some sour dark fruit, raisins, soured grapes. Taste is moderately funky, sweaty brett with notes of soured figs. Finishes dry and lightly tart. Not a huge pucker. Pretty good. Overpriced.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2013 Bottle shared thanks to thebsmitty! Pours a medium golden brown with dissipating off-white head. Aroma is oak barrel sweetness, musky grapes, hint of bret. Taste follows, yeast and sweet musty grapes with a hint of booze. Smoother than the other I tried, tannic awesomeness.
