Danish: En vild belgisk ale brygget på: vand, malt (pale og cara), lys kandis, humle (hallertau og styrian golding), gær og brettanomyces. Lagret 7 måneder på hvidvinsfade.

English: It’s Alive!!! Indeed it is. This Belgian Ale has been aged on White Wine barrels to give it that touch of alcohol, while the Brettanomyces give the tartness. Complex but well balanced beer.

(2007) Amber dredge, white lid. Aroma of gooseberry and green banana. Wow, this one has peaked, taste is almost nonexistent. Not unpleasant in any way, just very subdued. Very low carbonation, dry mouthfeel. I suspect this one should be enjoyed quite a bit younger.

Saveur: Goût de citron sûrette avec une pointe fruitée. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture vineuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement fruité. (Rating #5159)

Aroma: Sharp and nutty parmesan cheese, tart cherries. Appearance: Murky rust color body; off-white and foamy head. Very sticky lacing. Taste: Sour citrus notes mellow out to a slight sweetness and herbal bitterness. Sourness comes back in an aftertaste that lingers pleasantly, but not for too long. Palate: thin and smooth. finishes like a nice cold glass of iced tea. I’ve been trying and trying to get into sour beers, and I think this might be the first one I’ve had that gives me faith in the style. I might just like sour beers after all...

A great mix of barn yard and white wine on the nose. Carmel color with a bit of haze, the taste is light and refreshing with just the right amount of sour. I am in love with this beer!

Drank alongside the White Wine Lychee version. Orange-amber pour with a white head. The aroma is full of toffee with some dark fruit, grapes and oak. The flavor has some oak and funk up front, with some grapes and a light bit of tartness. Very funky tasting with some strong leather and tobacco notes as it warms. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
