Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; pours a hazy amber with pillowy white head, spicy fruity aroma, sour bite at the back the throat on first taste, this subdued as it warmed to a pleasant sourness with cinnamon and a dry bitterness.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft, BD ShepBush. Pours slightly hazy burnished gold, thickish head recedes gently. Nose of Belgian spice, brett, noble hops, light caramel. Tastes pretty sweet light caramel and toffee, very gentle brett acidity, moderate bitter, moderate aromatic spicy woody hops, some funk. Medium body, dry finish. Pretty good, but a bit on the sweet side maybe, and would be better from the bottle. Think I preferred Arh Hvad.

Bottle @ Crazy Pub, Casorate.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle. Pours cloudy, light amber.
Aroma is sweet, ripe fruits and a slight hint of booze.
Tastes quite hoppy, caramel sweetness, also with a very slight, warming feel of booze as it warms up.
Overall a decent beer, but not as crisp and fresh as the Orval it tributes.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Cloudy orange colour with a thin white head. Aroma has hops, sweet berries, some fruitiness, mostly of a yeasty and flowery character. Taste is sweet and smooth, rounded off with a slight boozy note followed by a dry bitterness. The bretty stuff is mellow and in the background, providing simply a dash of leathery texture. Flat on the tongue; would benefit from a heavier carbonation.
