2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The name is appropriate. The appearance was harmless enough. A fairly clear orangish color with minimal head that disappears quickly. The Aroma was a combination of citrus and molded cheese. The sweet taste combines with the barnyard aroma to question whether this was an experiment involving animal products gone bad. Other aromas: mustard, feet, Sauerkraut, orange peels. Not a bad beer if you want something unique. Be prepared for what you are getting though. I was not.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750ml bottle with expiry of 31/7/18. An amber beer with a medium sized stable white head and decent lace. Nose offers light Brett, straw, candied sugar, pale malts and blood oranges. Palate is deliciously refined and smooth with light bitter and sour flavours and a hay-like dry hop finish that refreshes. It is dangerously drinkable given the ABV. I would imagine that this gets even better with cellaring (as does Orval).

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft, BD ShepBush. Pours slightly hazy burnished gold, thickish head recedes gently. Nose of Belgian spice, brett, noble hops, light caramel. Tastes pretty sweet light caramel and toffee, very gentle brett acidity, moderate bitter, moderate aromatic spicy woody hops, some funk. Medium body, dry finish. Pretty good, but a bit on the sweet side maybe, and would be better from the bottle. Think I preferred Arh Hvad.
