Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with rocky white fully lasting head. Aroma is very hoppy with strong scent of dandelions. There is also hints of soap and cola. Taste is light sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter in good balance and with a nice long finish. Body is oily with lively carbonation.

On tap at Night after Monsters. Pours a clear gold with a medium off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is a floral hop and honey. Thin mouthfeel with a wheat grass and citrus flavor. Easy to drink, a very impressive Belgian strong ale from Mikkeller.

Det här var en god och välbalanserad öl, humlebeskan var bra och smaken präglades främst av frukt, kanske aprikos, och jäst. Slutsats: spännande och god öl.

Vertical with a three year old bottle of Alight!, this was worse.
Aroma is surprisingly light and stale with too ripe fruits. No earthy notes or sourness whatsoever. Some biscuits and raisins though. Flavour has too ripe fruits, some earthy notes and spices. Also some unpleasant flavour that reminds me of raw plums. Lame, probably past its best already. Obviously this does not age as well as Orval does.

Bottled. A purply brown coloured beer with no head. a really boozy aroma with sherry notes together with creosote. Sour, woody and over boozy in the mouth. A lot of chocolate. This is a real struggle. The sour and fence flavours do not gel and there’s a real alcohol issue. Didn’t like it at all.

8 ounce sample on tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. The aroma is a bit sweet at first with some mild citrus notes. This dissipates quickly and then it becomes a bit musty with mild hints of Brett. Seems a bit oxidized, too. Moderately hazy copper-orange body with a strong off-white head present. Starts spicy with some mildly peppery notes from the Brett. Becomes quite herbal in the middle. Finishes with mild bitterness. Not too much happening with this beer and the Brett. It might just be a little too young at this point.

Pours a nice cola colored brown. Aromas of malts, fruit, and a touch of spice. Has flavors of chocolate, caramel, and a touch of wood.
