Brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
Mikkellers tribute to the foul-mouthed stewardess Jackie Brown from Quentin Tarantino’s movie of the same name. It’s a roasty, chocolaty brown ale with hints of coffee and licorice. Being a Mikkeller brew the malts are inevitably complimented by a great amount of hop bitterness, aroma and flavour.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pale, munich, cara-pils, cara-crystal, brown and chocolate), flaked oats, hops (nugget, simcoe and centennial) and ale yeast.

Bottle as rail soda. Pours a slightly hazy brownish beer with a big beige head on top. Aroma has nutty notes, some earthy hops, sugar and caramel in there. Also some yeasty fruityness detected. Flavor is moderately bitter, more hoppy notes in the flavor than in the aroma. Slight grassy, citrussy with a cookie-like aftertaste. A bit strange, but OK.

Textura aveludada. Corpo e carbonatação média alta. Excelente. Umas das melhores da Mikkeller.

Bottle. Pours nearly clear dark copper brown with airy but stable beige head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of leaves, malt, caramel and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of malt and roasted nuts and touches of yeast. Hints of citrus. Roasty and bitter aftertaste. A very decent Brown Ale.

On tap -- Served in a 10oz English styled glass. Deep dark brown with thin tan bubbles. Aroma was noble hop and caramel. Flavor was a dark roasty, english brown style, with a higher abundance of hops than typical english browns. Overall I found it nice, but nothing exceptional.

At a tasting, thanks stas and Vova, long lasting dense beige head, hazy and a little murky brown colour, aroma of wood, brown bread and hints of nuts and pine, flavor of toasted bread, light roastiness and a hint of dark chocolate, medium persistent bitterness and a lingering light sourness. Nice and enjoyable.
