COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
Mikkellers tribute to the foul-mouthed stewardess Jackie Brown from Quentin Tarantino’s movie of the same name. It’s a roasty, chocolaty brown ale with hints of coffee and licorice. Being a Mikkeller brew the malts are inevitably complimented by a great amount of hop bitterness, aroma and flavour.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pale, munich, cara-pils, cara-crystal, brown and chocolate), flaked oats, hops (nugget, simcoe and centennial) and ale yeast.

pour is a dark brown . very well balanced beer, hops and malt blended together with perfection. would have thought the abv was lower than 5.9%, could drink it like a session beer

Bottle from Perfect pour. Pours dark brown with an inch of khaki foam. A bit of malt on the nose. There’s a little bit of nuttiness but it’s obliterated by all the hop bitterness. Finish lingers a bit. I see what there doing here but I prefer my brown ales to be brewed closer to style.

Bottle at home. Pours clear soaplike light white and brownish head. Aroma: Hops, chocolate, coffee. Licorice. Roasted malt, grain. dominating roasted bitterness. Refreshing, light good taste. The bitterness drowns much of the light sweetness and the complex taste unless it is enjoyed slowly with pauses. Medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown coloured with a beige head. Roasted aroma with notes of oat, coffee and chocolate . Light roasted flavour of coffee, chocolate and hops with notes of oat and flowery notes. Dry roasted finish. Nicely hopped, a but untraditional for a brown ale but hope that this is the revolution ^^

Bottle. Pours brown/ruby with a big off white head. Big hop aroma but can immediately tell the bottle is out of date. Really a shame because the malt characteristics are outstanding. Lots of caramel, some vanilla and smoke. Mouthfeel is slightly thin. Will definitely buy this again to rate a fresh bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

En flaska lagrad något år. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, toner av choklad, kaffe och laktris. Lätt kropp, smakrik, välbalanserad och med en frisk humlebeska.

Dark brown, aroma is hoppy with roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is malty, with coffee and chocolate notes. Nice bitterness that lasts.
