COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
Mikkellers tribute to the foul-mouthed stewardess Jackie Brown from Quentin Tarantino’s movie of the same name. It’s a roasty, chocolaty brown ale with hints of coffee and licorice. Being a Mikkeller brew the malts are inevitably complimented by a great amount of hop bitterness, aroma and flavour.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pale, munich, cara-pils, cara-crystal, brown and chocolate), flaked oats, hops (nugget, simcoe and centennial) and ale yeast.

Wonderfull. All around great beer. Well crafted and laid out with a plan. This guy doesnt make bad beer! Everything he makes is gold! Delicious, malty, darker with a perfect blend of dark roast malts and coffee flavor. Amazing. Mouthfeel is great, grain bill is on point. Just spectacular! Anything Mikkeller makes is worth buying trust me. He is a school teacher who started brewing in his house, 10 years later is brewing some of the top beers in the world! Buy it.

Bottle at Port Street Beer House, thanks Joel! A black beer with a tan head. Aroma and flavours of chocolate, coffee with lingering roasty malt and pine. Similar flavours. Mild carbonation and very tasty.

50cl Bottle @ home "Geers. Dark brown to almost black coloured beer with a large brown head. Roasted malty hinted aroma with a fruity chocolaty hint. Full light creamy palate. Finish is slightly roasted bitter malty with a dry hoppy tone. Nice.

Bottle (50cl) from Magasin Mad & Vin, Copenhagen. Hazy reddish brown colour. Inch-thick beige fluffy head with good retention, nice lacings. Very hoppy aroma, reminiscent of an IPA, with a brown ale malty base. This combines into a complex aroma, including citrus (grapefruit, zesty orange marmalade), chocolate, coffee, bread, licorice, hint of menthol - the result is strangely harmonious. Medium body, soft carbonation. Taste is dry malty with a powerful hop bitterness - leaving a rough tongue, but well-balanced by discreet sweetness and acidity.

Bottle. BBE in early 2012. Forgot it in the fridge. Pours a very dark brown, almost black with a large, very thick, beige head. Aroma is exotic fruits, pith, some juniper, roasted malts, tones of soy. Taste begins with exotic fruits, pith, some wood and roasted notes. Roastedness takes over in the middle while the finish is a mixture of roast, citrus and pine/juniper.

From bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Fairly tame aroma, some metal, some chocolate. Taste is incredible, so much chocolate, coffee and vanilla, molasses. Creamy and smooth. Very tasty
