Jug @ [ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012 ] @ Spartas Lokaler, Faelledparken in Osterbro, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Unclear to clear medium yellow to orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, butter - butterscotch - diacetyl. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120511]

From jug @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration; matched with dinner both days. Pours a deep golden slightly hazy body with a tiny white head, lasting about 30 seconds. Not too strange, since we are dealing with unblended lambic here. :-) Aroma is quite off-putting, since massive buttery diacetyl tones spoil the party (for me at least). Otherwise, tart woody fruit tones with zesty lemon hints are pushing for attention. Tastewise, it’s less buttery but the diacetyl still hangs in there. Mild tart grapes, wood and grainy malts in the back, with hints of lactic acid and grainy bread. Very odd brew, and not too convincing - not even as a food pairing beer.

Poured from a jug at the dinner, CBC, Friday and Saturday. Golden body, bubbles at the surface. Aroma of tart and sweet fruits. Wooden tartness and malty sweetness to the taste buds. Mild dry ending. Matched very well with the food, especially with the meat on Friday (Copenhagen 11-12th May, 2012).

Tap @ the CBC dinner, 2012.
Pours clear golden with a small, creamy, white film head. Aroma has mild tartness, sweet malts, light oranges. Fairly lactic, only mild funk. Medium carbonation, thin and rather watery. Flavour is sweetish, light tart, brewing cereal, oranges, citrus. Not very good.

tap at cbc during dinner (reviewed from notes). Pours dark orange, no head. Aroma of lime and some exotic fruit. Slightly bitter and sour - does not make one think of lambic at all... But nice to drink.

On tap at CBC, enjoyed with beerbiker and evil stepdad, served during the dinner, according to the chef, but since no one else has rated this, i might be wrong. Sleightly hazy golden/orange with a small white head. Sweet flowery nectar arom, light sourness aswell. Mild bitter flavor with a very fresh acidity and again mild nectar sweetness. Nice!
