brnandersen (1907) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2012
Served from a jug at CBC-dinner. Slightly hazy golden colour with a small, white head. Light tart aroma with light malts, sour fruits - abricots, plums and floral hops. Taste is medium bitter. Medium body with a thin-slick texture. Finished light acidic. Good food - beer pairing, not something I otherwise would buy.

Sample @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Pours Hazy golden with a creamy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and tiny sour with white bread, hay, lemon zest, dry soil, green apples, brett, leather and very subtle hints of barnyard. Taste is sweet, slightly sour and malty with white bread, crackers, lemon juice, green apples, brett, orange peal, lemon zest hay, plums, wood, dry soil and hints of butterscotch. Mouthfeel is round, tiny tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is sweet and tart with crackers, orange peal, hay and lemon zest.

12-MAY-2012, served with dinner @CBC. Orange with huge fluffy almost white head. Very fruity with oranges and apricots. Some hops. Simple, slightly tart and somewhat sweet. Pairs nice with dinner. Really a session beer. Can lambic be a session beer? OK and fresh.

Fad: Serveret til CBC middag. Orangegul uklar øl med et fint skumhoved. Duften er meget sødlig, ikke megen funk eller surhed. Smagen er overraskende sød maltet. Jeg var ikke så imponeret.

From a jug at the CBC. Cloudy amber. Oaky, some yeast. Fruity, citrus, peaches, some funk, but nothing outstanding about this.

Served at dinner at CBC. Clear golden with a stable 1/2 finger layer of white foamy head. Light tart, light malt, quite hoppy for a lambic - abricots, floral hops, yellow plums. Taste is dry, medium bitter, light acidic finish, pairs very well with the food. Very young, very easy to drink.

Draught @ CBC ’12
Rather light aroma has earthy notes and hints of apricot. Flavour has sour apples, earthy notes, lactic and gastric acid. Good.

lusikka (6239) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 11, 2012
Served @ CBC 2012.
Pours a copper amber colour with a white head. Aroma of sour fruits, dry wood and some lactic acid. Flavour of sweet caramel, lactic acid, sour green apples and floral notes. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes malty and light sour. Not too extreme and pairs extremely well with the CBC dinner.
