12 oz can poured into a shaker pint at Mokomandy. Shared by DCLawyer, thanks! Clear straw golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of malt, citrus, light wheat, light skunk. Tastes of malt, citrus, light hay, wheat. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

translucent gold, thin white cap. Grassy nose, papery underattenuation peaks out from behind. Sharp hop front, biting paper, oily. More session IPA, thin oilyness with low effervescence.

Can at the November DC Gathering. Poured a cloudy golden color with a small white head. Aroma was light lemon, yeast notes. Flavor was light sweet notes. Actually very refreshing and not a malt bomb like so many of these can be.

Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin), with a strong note of diacetyl, lighter note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately to heavily bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Wow, I figured Sly Fox would a safe brewer for a pils; I used to love Pikeland Pils, although I don’t know if it’s any good anymore. This one here is a butter bomb, and has some vegetable juice as well...and even though the hops are prominent too, they’re the raw resinous-grapefruit pith kind. Harsh bitterness and a not-so-clean aftertaste makes the drinking experience unpleasant too. A big disappointment.

tasted at Dark Lord Sunday (20th Sept 2015). In my opinion, this is too hoppy to be called a Pilsner. A delicious, light, blonde beer with a strong hoppy note through it.

Can. Amber beer with a big cream head. Light grapefruit and malt aroma. Grapefruit and malt flavor. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and malt linger with light pine and light grassiness.

Can from Kwiker #2 on the way to the PMR in Fort Walton. Clear yellow color with a big, foamy white head. Huge aroma of west coast hops with some pine sap. The flavor is much more toned down fitting a traditional pils but there is some long lingering bitterness. Nice play on the style and tasty at 5%. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
