Can shared at Kernel. From Bottledog. Light hazed pale yellow coloured pour with a lasting pure whitefrothy head. Aroma is nice delicate floral and soft fruit hop, pineapple melon. Flavour is clean pils grains, little grainy, crisp pineapple, melon fruit. Very clean and sessionable. Palate is clean and crisp, light body, moderate carbonation. Firm citrus bitterness. Good stuff.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Weird hoppiness on the nose, with some bread; follows onto the palate. Can’t put my finger on it, but this one is not for me.

Tinned, 355ml from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Gold with explosive white head. Wow, is this really Pilsener? Sprucey, resinous hop notes from the start, fruity hops and lots of depth. There is a bitterness in a citrusy way. Very decent but stretching the style envelope to its limits.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Straw colored. Citrusy and earthy aroma and taste. Solid Pilsner base...much more flavorful than your average Pilsner style, I thought. Good yeastoness and just a touch of bothering hops. Smooth.

Can at Lincoln wine bar. Straw colored. Hints of straw in the flavor too--grassy hops, lightly bitter finish. MB liked it; I wasn’t so crazy about it.
