3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Courtesy of Someister- thanks Sean! Typical IPA flavors upfront- pine, some citrus, balanced fruitiness. But towards the back-end, I got the roasty coffee flavors. I closed my eyes & almost thought I was drinking a mild black-IPA. Pretty good! Mikkeller surprises me again!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap. Dark amber colour. Thin white head. Coffee, hints of fruits in the aroma. Hints of coffee beans, Hints of citrusses. Strong coffee taste in the end. Hints of cocoanibs and coffee in the aftertaste. Rather medium bodied, medium carbonated, quite interesting beer. I like the strong coffee taste, but it takes a bit from the essence of IPA. Otherwise quite drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap (as Mikkeller Koppi IPA, 7.2% ABV, picture in the Estonian alko reg says its hopped with Tomahawk, so I assume this is the right version, despite the ABV difference). Pours dark amber brown. Aroma is coffee and hops. Flavor is sweet, coffee, hops, some fruits. Finish has more coffee. Overall: good coffee ipa.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Coffee and ipa aren’t a combo I’d think of. It’s not as bad as I expected, but still not really doing it for me. Nose of coffee roast, don’t get any hops. In the mouth it comes off as more of an ipa, with dirty or vegetative undertones. Almost like an ale blended work per. Finishes with more roast.

Bottle, Ketts Tavern, Norwich, 26/3/2016.
Lots of caramel, some borderline barley wine notes because this is a bit old and UK distributors suck. Nice bold Ethiopian coffee. Clean brewing from De Proef. Drinkable stuff. Nice beer!

From my backlogg:
Bottle in London 2014. Hazy amber beer with an offwhite head. Hoppy grassy coffee aroma. Similar flavour with some Ashes and sourish notes.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a medium amber with thin beige head. Aroma is coffee and some piney hops. Flavor is roasty coffee, medium
body with a little creaminess. Kind of weird for an IPA, finishes with some bitterness but is mostly a thin, light, coffee stout.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very nice IPA, even though the coffee doesn’t really show up.
Pours cloudy orange with thick ivory head.
Aroma is orange blossom and other white flowers, alongside honey.
Creamy, full-bodied, with interesting metallic tinges and a persistent and sheer bitterness.
