tap @ mikkeller and friends (only the bottled version is retired) . Mellow taste of coffee grounds and citrus with a hoppy bitter aftertaste. Weird combination but not unplesant, although i don’t think i will try this again.

750ml bottle. Pours hazy caramel/copperish brown color with a huge 3 fingers of fluffy off white head. Aroma is earthy, piney, floral hops with some caramel malt. Taste is coffee and roasted malt with a hoppy resin filled bitter ending.

Cloudy brown beer with a massive pale tan - cream coloured head. Light dry palate. Mellow creamy coffee with mild lactose. Mild hops - tiny bit of orange. Semi dry finish. Nicely done - mellow but flavoursome coffee and hops. Does what it says on the tin.

Appearance is amber brown and hazy, foam is little. Aroma has roast, salty licorice, but little skanky. Taste has a lot of coffee and skanky, I didn’t feel the taste of the hops. Palate is medium. Overall I don’t understand why coffee and IPA are put together. Not in my taste at all.

(Bottle) Hazy brownish amber colour with lasting beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of rye bread, coffee, dried apricots and resinous hops. Malty, hoppy taste with rye bread, grapefruit, dried fruit, treacle, resin and generous amounts of citric, resinous hops in the finish. Coffee coming through in the finish, but hops dominate the palate. Medium body, fairly dry. Interesting beer with a distinct coffee aroma and citric, resinous hops taking over on the palate. Nice one.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
