3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is sweet and filled with tropical fruits. Pours a dark amber, a little hazy with a thick white foam that leaves a lot of lacing. Taste is bitter and slightly sweet, quite a lot of bitterness, but nothing that throws the balance off. It is very pleasant on the palate, slightly thick with average carbonation.

750ML Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with a large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellentl lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy citrus hop aroma. Medium body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet hop flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a change of pace standout beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled sample shared with oakbluff. Hazy orange in colour with fairly strong carbonation. Aromas are of pine resin, sweet orange, a bit of caramel malt, and a wiff of coffee. The first few sips are very IPA-like with more citrus, grass, and pine resin, with the coffee being only faint. After a while, the coffee flavours really started to build and add a layer of roast and bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied. Drinkable stuff, and weird. Hard to give a numerical rating for, but something that I enjoyed.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330 ml bottle. Amber with a big, stable, creamy off-white head. Aroma is citric fruity like grapefruit with mild coffee. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, citric fruit, bitter and mild coffee. Nice and a bit unusually, no dominating coffee flavor – it’s just present.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours amber, with a thick, creamy head. Fruity aroma, with notes of flowery hops and pine. Flavour is at first notes of honey and caramel, before a very pleasant orangey citrus bitterness strikes. Some malts, before lots and lots of orange peel bitterness lingers on in a long lasting finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a light bronze coloured. Plenty of haze. Light tan coloured dense head. Lots of lacing. Fairly typical IPA type aromas with lots of citrus hops and some light caramel sweetness. Some roasted coffee in the background. Some stout type aromas coming through. Nice stuff. Taste wise it is a fairly standard IPA. A little sweetness up front followed by resiny hop bitterness. Somewhat hard resiny bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
750->tulip: Pours a huge offwhite head atop an opaque, amber body. Aroma of hops and nothing else. Bitter on the tongue, acidic, and an aftertaste of coffee that reminds me of compost (I’ve tried brewing beer w/ coffee and that’s what I get, too). Clean on the palate, mildly astringent. OK, but not good and I’m a coffee and beer aficionado.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - I get a light amount coffee in nose. I get some hoppiness in the taste. Im still not sure what to think about this beers. Coffee in an IPA seems weird, but it a lot better than I thought it would be.
