3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours clear copper color with off white head. Aromas of citrus and pine with some biscuit malts. I don’t smelll any coffee whatsoever. Pine and grapefruit flavors with some maltiness. Again, no coffee at all. Medium body with average carbonation. Overall it’s an average IPA at best that’s definately not worth the hefty price tag.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Keg @ BrewDog Glasgow. Bit surprised that this one has not been already added. Seemed to be a different one from the other Koppi hybrid ales. Cloudy medium brown colour, reasonable head. Coffee hop aroma & flavour. Coffee aftertaste. Really good coffee IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap @ Mikkeller Bar. This one pours a cloudy amber-orange body with a nice heavy lacing and light bubbly-creamy off-white head. Fruity and really fresh on the aroma, tones of tropic peach and mango mixed with thin hints of green coffee beans. The carbonation level is average and it has a nice smooth and mild-oily mouthfeel. Weird combo this; it’s kinda dry and hoppy - but also tones of herbal-green-coffee beans. More fruity in the dry finish with a mild grassy bitterness and hints of chocolate paper. As mentioned a strange combo, but I like it! 08.01.2012

Orange qith off-white head.
Lovely bitter hoppy nose with orange, pine, and grape fruit.
Taste is the same hoppiness. Where is the coffee?
I do not miss it, but then remove it from the lable...
Fantastic IPA. Love this:)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy dark orange-brown with a big light yellow-white head. Malt and hops on the nose, grapefruit and pine. Taste is dominated primarily by coffee, but there is also a strong bitterness and some grape and pine fruit. All of it landing on a malty base. Im not much of a coffee drinker, but I reckon I would love this if I was.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours cloudy orange-amber with a small beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma was all citrus and pine at first until it warmed up. Once it had warmed up a fair bit much more came through. Vanilla, lychee, passionfruit and chocolate tones come together surprisingly well and it all finishes up smelling like a sweet ice coffee. Caramel and chocolate undertones in the taste with your typical ipa notes in there - citrus, pine; all with a touch of coffee to finish. The coffee really is super subtlle until the beer warms up a heap. Ends up a solid brew. Those that want to try a bigger coffee induced ipa should try mountain goats seedy goat

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Shared bottle from Khioskh. Hazy copper with a light brown, rocky head.
Flowers, herbs, citrus, peach, apricot and malts on the nose. Heavy bitter, alcoholic, sweet, hoppy acidic with earthy notes. Full body. Long dry and bitter finish. Unbalanced and a bit of a bitter shock. Nice way to start the morning though.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Cloudy brownish amber with an off-white head. Odd aroma of very good berryish coffee, marmalade. Tastes like demerara-sweetened coffee mixed with a grapefruity and pine IPA, but somehow hangs together rather better than that sounds. Odd and good.
