On tap at Bishops Arms in Örebro. Fruity and hoppy smell with grapefruit, pine and citrus. Similar taste with some caramel malts and chocolate. Nice BIPA.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a pitch black colour with a thick white head. Aroma of strong, juicy and sweet fruits with floral hops. Flavour of roasted malts, strong floral hops, sweet juicy fruits, strawberries and wood. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel and a long, bitter and roasty finish with juicy fruits. Probably the most fruity black IPA I’ve tasted so far. Great stuff.

Bottle from Kihoskh. Almost black with a big light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, caramel and rather hoppy - pine and citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 071112

Aroma has hops with exotic fruits and no roastiness at all. Also some resin. Flavour is ashy with roastiness, some vanilla, strawberries and hops. A bit too ashy but good anyway.

Bottled. Dark almost Pitch black coloured fluffy light Brown head. Herbs, flowers, sweetness, caramel light roast in the aroma. Flavour of roast, herbs, flowers, Spice and caramel. Medium to full bodied. Ens herbal and grapy bitter in the end.

Fruity aroma of hay, grass, hops and petroleum with roasted notes.
Fruity and hoppy flavour of grass and pine needles with notes of dark chocolate and liquorice.
Roasted and hoppy finish.

(Bottle, Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm) Black colour with lasting, frothy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with dark chocolate, liquorice, pine needles and dark rye bread. Malty, fruity taste with notes of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, dried fruit, liquorice and a piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. The expected piney bitterness is nicely balanced by a slightly surprising sweetish liquorice and malt character. Well balanced and really nice.
