Cloudy yellowy pour with a frothy white head that sticks around and leaves a lot of webbing. Fresh pineapple, pine and a candy note on the nose. A little light of flavour, some pineapple and pine but not much else really. Finishes with a persistent bitterness.

Mikkeller K:rlek Efterår/Vinter 2013. Part of the 2014 Mikkeller feature at the LCBO. The beer pours a hazed medium gold with a thin white ring for a head. The aroma is sour fruit, grass, grapefruit, and light spice. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grapefruit and apricot, with noticeable grass and yeast flavours. Not a bad beer.

Bottle, shared with TylerDurden. Cloudy light orange-gold with a very thick white head. Bright citrus and tropical fruit nose. Lively palate, lightly sweet malts and quenching tropical fruit hop character, leaning heavily toward citrus and fresh pineapple. Moderately bitter finish. Very nice.

Bottle from the LCBO. Turbid yellow-orange with a small white head. Aroma of pineapple, citrus, apricot, hint of pine, light honey biscuit. Flavour is big a fruity, with a lot of pineapple, some sweet orange, light peach hints, citrus peel finish. Medium-light body with a good level of carbonation. A very nice, fruity, hop-forward pale ale - just not sure if it was worth $4.60 for a 330 ml bottle given that I can find a few equally good local pale ales for a fair bit less.
