Pours a lovely orange, with a nice white head. The aroma is full of citrus, tropical fruits and pineapple. Similar taste, so fresh so drinkable. Very nice nose, very drinkable and a nice label...

Bonne pâle ale avec un nez agréable, bonbon et fruit, une bouche très pure mais gourmande, bonne équilibre amertume sucre finale légèrement acidulée, mais pas tout à fait ce qu’on recherche dans 1american pâle ale.

[Bottle from LCBO just purchased (April 2015), but same label as in description] Cat pee and pineapple aroma with some set base malt. Hazy orange-yellow under a white cover and lace. Tropical fruit and cat pee hops flavour that begins with sweet malt, then finishes dry with a moderate, woody bitterness. Medium light body, medium carbonation, crisp.

Bottle. Burnt orange with semi-densed, white, medium head. Medium head retention and great lacing. Medium citrus and earthy hops aroma, light piney character. Taste is medium bitter, noticable from whole degustation. Medium citrus (grapefruit) and grassy flavours. Pale malts light peppery notes. Ligh to medium body, watery texture, medium carbonation finish is semi-dry and bitter. In general not as citrus as it should be,because of hops used. Secondly IMHO little too hoppy for APA. Still that’s mikkeler, so you should try this one.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dirty amber with light head. Aromas of caramel and mashed fruit with additional light floral notes. Flavors of citrus, grass, and bread. Metallic bitter finish.Nothing to write home about. Maybe showing it’s age...

Copenhagen 1/11 2014. 33 cl bottle brought by my brother in law. Rather ugly Indie etiquet. Pours hazy gold with white head. Strong fruity aroma from the hops. Bitter with a peachy sweetness. Medium strong carbonation. Characteristic taste of pale ale but with a little subdued bitterness. Fruity taste - peach, sour grapefruit. Maybe a little disappointed with my first Mikkeller.

Pours hazy deep gold with two fingers of loose white head diminishing gradually to a thin cap, spotty moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is pithy lemon and grapefruit, pale malt, pineapple, grassy/leafy hops. (8/10) Taste is mild sweet, moderate bitter, very light peppery spice and tart. (8/10) Medium to slightly watery body, moderate to low carbonation, dry moderate bitter finish. (4/5) Surprising that there’s so much juicy citrus in this thing at well over a year old. I was inclined to be a bit dismissive of the 2016 best before date, but apparently this really does have near-magical flavour retention. The actual pineapple in this plays well with the usual suspects starts-with-C hops, making for a wonderfully fruity citrus experience that is never too sweet, and finishes dry and bitter. My kind of APA. (16/20)

Bottle. High hazy body with medium frosty head, long lasting. Aroma has fruity character, pineapple, citrus, orange, mandarine, clean. Taste has medium earthy bitterness, low to almost none sweetness, the palate is pretty low compared to the aroma. Body is medium, watery, low to medium carbonation.

(unsure if this is the correct rb entry - as it was not a shelf left over and it felt pretty fresh - anyhow, this is the rating for the pineapple declension) pours hazy greyish pale golden with a small off-white cap showing minimal retention and lacing. tropical fruits and citrus - bitter grapefruit peel and some juicy notes, pale lightly toasted maltiness, some spicy rye features, light caramel, ginger, grass. light carbonation, light body - oily, balanced tropical-spicy-citrusy finish. tasty and good!
