Bottle from Kihoskh, shared march 30th 2013. Hazy orange, lasting white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, grass, citrus zest. Taste is very dry , hoppy, grass and grapefruit, mango, no room for malt sweetness, with an enjoyable bitterness making this a very refreshing APA.

Bottle from Greta Grog. Solid but not mind enhancing APA from my fav brewer. Mind nothing can come close to the red/white aged raspberry Monks Brew of earlier this week. this smells better than it tastes. Not that the taste is bad, but the hops are middling and the funkyness is downplayed. There’s so many top drawer PA’s around that it takes that bit extra to get this reviewereer excited now!

330ml bottle. Cloudy copper body with a huge head. Fudge, mandarine, pine, mango. Quite fruity and not too bitter.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet (Storo), Oslo. Slightly hazy reddish amber colour. Half-inch offwhite head, reduces quite quickly, but leaves a steady ring with some lacing. Aroma of citrussy hops, grapefruit, sweat, pine, almonds, hint of caramel. Medium body, fizzy-soft carbonation. Dry, fruity-bitter taste with a mild acidity and a ’background’ sweetness. Lasting, pleasantly bitter aftertaste.

Nice apa smell but not totally fresh smell. Nice and Well made but nothing spectacular for a hoppy beer.

Dark yellow coloured beer. A good sized head. Very grassy, citrus hopped beer. The bitterness holds a long time.

Complex odor of sweet and citrusy. Lots happening in the aroma yet revealing a papaya and tropical fruit dominance. While it pours a good head, it has quite a cloudy look. Very good all round flavor to this palate of the beer makes this a very drinkable, flavorful and complete, in a sense, beer. Could have been bolder on the hops but it excellently fits the bill of a pale ale. While I would certainly have this beer again, it feels a little missing in complexity. Yet, with a full palate it does a respectful job. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
