visionthing (3524) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 8, 2012
From bottle at Oslo ølfestival. Pours slightly hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, fruits, citrus, malt and hops. Heavy alcohol sweetness with fruity and lightly hoppy flavours and a pleasant and grapefruity, but a bit weak bitterness in the finish. Full body with an almost sirupy mouthfeel. Warming alcohol. Strong and sweet, interesting, but a bit too much alcohol. Nice dessert IIPA! (2012-10-06)

teddybeer (2702) - Paris, FRANCE - OCT 6, 2012
On tap at Animal (Madrid). Hazy golden colour with a good formation of an off-white head, good lasting. Aroma is fruity (sweet and tropical fruits), floral, lightly hoppy. Flavor is fresh, lightly sweet, very strong bittery and alcoholic, but very good balanced. Pine and resins dominate the mouth, dense and smooth on palate with an aftertaste intense and strong bittery and malty. Carbonation is medium. Body is high. Texture is oily. Great beer, highly recommended.

Orange with small white bubbly head. Nose is grapefruity, sweet, malty with some peach-orange notes, caramel and alcohol. Taste begins with malt and caramel sweetness and develops into grapefruit and orange notes with heavy, warming alcohol and fruity hops. Boozy after taste. Medium body, fairly flat carbonation, oily mouthfeel.

Bottle @ tasting. Aroma is huge fruity cheesy hop madness, big caramel bready malt note. Flavour is uberheavy hop fullness, then big bread and caramel malt, then a hefty alcohol warmth and burn, then more malt. Finishing with a big alcoholic warmth covered in hop bitterness.
